The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given diagram illustrate the process of fabric manufacturing from bamboo. Overall, the diagram consists of nine stages, beginning with planting bamboo plants and ending with sewing cloths from fabric.

Initially the process starts with planting bamboo plants during the spring season. In the next stage, farmers harvest the cultivation in autumn. Once this has been completed, yield of bamboo cut into strips from a machine. After this, water and amine oxide are added to this for converted to soften fibres.

In the next stage, fibres are separated from liquid by using a filter. Then crush strips to make liquid pulp. Following this, the pulp is spinned to make yam. Then it has weaved to make fabric and the process ends with sewing beautifulclothes from these fabric.
