The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrates the process of fabric manufacturing from bamboo plant.

Overall, the manufacturing process consists of nine stages, beginning from cultivation of bamboo plants, followed by several other events to the making of clothing material at the end.

The manufacturing process involves a linear sequence of events, commencing with cultivation of bamboo plant mainly in the spring season in the first step. The next step involves the harvesting of mature bamboo plant particularly done in the autumn, followed by cutting of bamboo into small strips using a sharp cutter. Thereafter, the strips are crushed in the crusher to yield a liquid pulp out of it. Subsequently, the liquid pulp undergoes filtration process where long fibres are filtered from the liquid.

Next process involves softening of fibres which includes addition of water and amine oxide, as a result forms soft fibres. Then, these soft fibres are spinned to make a yarn. Thereafter, weaving of yarn is done that is used to make different kinds of fabric.
