The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The Diagram illustrates the process of how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Overall, this is a parallel process with nine stages. Its starts from the plantation of bamboo tree and ends on the manufactured cloths.

Firstly, bamboo tree is planted in the soil in the spring season.After that the ful grown tree is harvasted by the farmers one by one and in third stage that the harvested bamboo is cutted into strips which are later crush in the forth stage to make liquid pulp.

Then on fifth stage this pulp is filtered using a funnel to seperate long fibers from the liquid. Next stage soften those fibres by adding water and amine oxide after that these soften fibers are twisted together to make yarn on the seventh stage,Then this is weaved to make fabric on the eighth stage which is use to make clothes like shirts and socks on the final stage.
