The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrates a process of manufacturing fabric from bamboo.

Overall, the step by step method indicates how a bamboo plant is used to make the material for clothes. The process is completed involving the two seasons.

Firstly, the bamboo plants are planted in Spring and then harvested in the Autumn season by the farmers. Subsequently, they are cut into small strips with the help of machines. The strips are then crushed to make a liquid pulp. To separate long fibres from the liquid, filtration is done. Fibres which are filtered have a hard texture. Hence, water and amine oxide are added to soften it.

Once the fibres are softened, they have to go through the spinning process to make a yarn. The yarn is then weaved to make a fabric. Ultimately, the fabric is used to make clothes for everyone. For instance, shirts and socks are made from the bamboo plants.
