The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The diagram illustrates the overall process of how bamboo fabric is manufactured from a normal looking plant known as bamboo
The process involves overall 9 steps from period of harvest to filter of strips and to weaving of fabric.
The whole process starts from planting bamboo plants, in season of spring and harvesting them in season of autumn and then the strips that have been collected during harvesting is collected and cutted through machines. The parts of strips that have been cutted into smaller pieces are now crushed to make liquid pulp out of them. Now we filter pulps so that fibres can be extracted out of them as we need to soften that extracted fibre. We have a need to soften out that fibres because we have to make yarn through spinning it. Then yarn goes through the process of weaving, as we need to make fabric out of them and then with help of fabric, clothes and shoes are produced whose end users are us.
