The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)
The process illustrates how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.
Overall, the process consists of nine main stages, beginning with the cultivation of bamboo plants (spring) and ending with manufactured fabric goods.
At the first stage, the cultivation of bamboo starts from planting the bamboo plants during the spring season. Next, in the autumn season a farmer starts the harvesting of bamboo trees. Following this, the collected bamboo trees were cut into strips by using a roller machine. After that, cutted strips were crushed into very tiny particles to make liquid plup. Which results, formation of tiny particles to make plup from bamboo trees.
In the next stage, seperation of long fibres from liquid plup by using funnel. Subsequently, soften fibres are formed by mixture of water and amine oxide. Next, through this mixture a spin is developed helps to prepare yam. Following this, weave is obtained through prepared yam. obtained weave is useful to make fabric. As a result, using this fabric different types of fabric goods are prepared such as cloths.
