The diagram below shows how fabric is manufactured from bamboo.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The illustration demonstrates how fabric is produced from bamboo.

Overall, there are a total of nine steps involved in the process, starting with planting bamboo in spring. This bamboo is then passed through several complex stages before being converted to fabric.

In the commencement, bamboo is initially planted in the spring. It awaits collection in the harvest in the autumn. In the following step, harvested bamboo is cut into strips by a mechanical saw. These strips are then crushed so as to create liquid pulp prepared for the next stage.

As the strips are crushed, the liquid pulp is sent to a filter for draining all the liquid out of the long fibres. Softened fibers are mixed with water and a chemical substance called amine oxide in the subsequent phase. Then, that mixture is spun in order to create yarn. Eventually, fabric woven from yarn is the main material to manufacture clothes.
