Overall, the process consist on nine steps, beginning from cultivated the bamboo tree in spring season and ending with products manufacturing is completed. This process produces high-quality bamboo-based fabric.
At the first stage, bamboo fabric plants are grown down in spring season, while the plants harvested in autumn. Next, plants are then cut into strips to transform into pieces, before further goes to machine divide the pieces to make liquid pulp. After this, the liquid are pass through a filter to separate waste and long fibers, followed by process in which water and amine oxide are remove fom the soften fibers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response successfully covers all main parts of the process diagram, from planting the bamboo in spring to the final production of clothing and textile products. An appropriate overview is provided, noting that the manufacturing procedure consists of nine distinct stages and results in high-quality fabric. However, some aspects of the task are handled more fully than others; certain steps are described with a lack of precise detail or rely on generalised explanations, which places the response firmly at this level. To move higher, the student should ensure all mechanical and chemical processes, such as filtering and softening, are described with greater clarity and precision, fully detailing how the inputs interact throughout the sequence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The writing demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a clear sequence that guides the reader through the stages from beginning to end. Paragraphing is utilised to separate the introduction and overview from the body details. Nevertheless, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or faulty, seen in connective phrases like 'Followed this' and repetitive transitions such as 'After this' and 'Thereafter'. Referencing and linking could be smoother to establish a more natural flow between sentences. To achieve a higher score, the student should employ a wider and more flexible variety of cohesive devices without relying on repetitive transitional formulas, ensuring that each step links seamlessly to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common terms such as 'cultivated', 'liquid pulp', 'amine oxide', and 'textile products'. However, there are noticeable word choice, word form, and spelling errors that affect precision, such as 'produce' instead of 'produced', 'consist on' instead of 'consist of', 'fom' instead of 'from', and 'procced' instead of 'processed'. While these inaccuracies do not completely impede communication, they restrict the lexical score. To improve, the student needs to expand their control over technical collocations and check word forms carefully to ensure accurate spelling and natural phrasing throughout the report.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response features a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt to use relative clauses and passive structures like 'are grown down', 'are pass through', and 'are remove'. However, there are frequent structural inaccuracies and issues with verb forms, prepositions, and voice, such as 'that how fabric is produce', 'beginning from cultivated', and 'yarn from to spin'. These errors in grammar and punctuation persist throughout the text and cause some difficulty for the reader. To reach the next band, the student must work on improving control over passive voice constructions, prepositions within phrases, and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed accurately without basic structural flaws.
