Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify several genuine stages, including planting, autumn harvesting, cutting, crushing, filtering, softening, spinning and weaving. However, the response only partially reports the process because it mixes the diagram with unsupported details about buying seeds, village women, factories, selling clothes and exporting them. These additions distract from the stages shown and sometimes replace accurate description: the diagram shows finished clothing as the final step, but does not describe its sale or manufacture by factory workers. There is no clear overview of the process as a whole. To improve, summarise the sequence accurately, note that it begins with seasonal cultivation and ends with clothing, and avoid adding explanations or events that are not shown.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is an attempt to move through the process in sequence, and words such as “Overall,” “Furthermore” and “Moreover” signal connections. However, the response lacks clear paragraphing and a consistent progression: the opening overview introduces village people and markets, then the body returns to planting and moves through the stages before adding unrelated sales details. Some links are repetitive or do not show the relationship between steps clearly, as in “Moreover crush strip” and “And long fibers spreat from liquide.” Organise the response into a brief introduction and overview followed by a chronological description, grouping the stages into preparation, fibre processing and fabric production. Use linking phrases only where they clarify the sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant process vocabulary, including “harvest,” “strips,” “fibers,” “filter,” “spin” and “weave,” which helps convey the general subject. However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “liquide puple,” “yam” for yarn, “spreat” and “maket.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unsuitable for describing a diagram, including “some factries buy fabric” and “make profit.” Aim to use accurate terms for the materials and transformations, and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary such as “pulp,” “separate,” “soften” and “finished garments” would make the process clearer and more appropriately formal.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts both simple and longer sentences, but control is inconsistent, and errors often make the relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “The diagram below provide,” “people buy a bamboo seed,” and “Bamboo plant harvest in Autumn,” where subject–verb agreement, articles and passive forms are not controlled. Longer sequences such as “Moreover crush strip to make liquide puple and plants again prosessing to filter” lack clear sentence structure and punctuation. Practise forming accurate process sentences, especially the passive voice: “The bamboo is cut into strips,” followed by “The strips are crushed to produce pulp.” Use full stops to separate stages and check verb forms and singular/plural agreement.
