Student answer (Band 5.5)
The preperation of bamboo fabric is a lengthy process. That contains several stages from plantation of bamboo plant till the making of fined cloths.
The process begins with the plantion of bamboo plant in spring.Harvesting occurs in autumn and the process of making soften fibers stars from there which then results in making of cloths.
The plantation of bamboo plant occurs during sring season. The cutting of plant take place in autumn. After that the large woods of bamboo are cut into strips with the help of cutting machine. Then the crushing process begins and these strips are crushed down to make a liquid pulp. After crushing filteration of long fibers from liquid occurs. Then in order to soften the fibers water and amine oxide is added to it.After softening of fiber new cycle begins this soften fiber is spinned to make yam and weaved to make fabric. At the end this fabric is used to make fined cloths.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You cover the main stages in the correct order, from planting in spring and harvesting in autumn through cutting, crushing, filtering, softening, spinning and weaving. The overview also identifies the process as a sequence that ends in cloth production. This addresses the task, although some stages are described less fully than others: for example, the final step is making clothing, shown as a T-shirt and socks, but you only say the fabric is used to make “clothes.” There is also a factual inaccuracy when you write that “the cutting of plant take place in autumn”; autumn is the harvest season, while cutting into strips follows harvesting. Clarifying the distinction between harvesting and processing, and describing the finished products more precisely, would make the report more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a generally understandable sequence, and time markers such as “The process begins,” “After that,” and “At the end” help the reader follow the stages. However, the organisation is weakened by repetition: planting in spring and harvesting in autumn are mentioned in both the second and third paragraphs, while the second paragraph gives only a broad preview of later stages. The long final paragraph then contains nearly all the processing details in one block. Use a concise overview followed by clearly grouped stages, and avoid repeating information. Some links are also awkward or unclear, such as “After softening of fiber new cycle begins,” which suggests a separate cycle rather than the next step in the same process.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant process vocabulary, including “liquid pulp,” “filteration,” “fibers,” “amine oxide,” “spinned,” and “weaved,” so the reader can identify most stages. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the description less precise. Examples include “preperation,” “plantion,” “sring,” and “fined,” while “large woods of bamboo” is an unnatural description of the material being cut. Some terms are also used imprecisely: “cloths” is better expressed as “clothing” or “garments,” and “cutting machine” could be specified as a saw. Build accuracy with standard process collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; this would make your vocabulary more reliable and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “these strips are crushed down to make a liquid pulp” and a sequence linked with “After that.” However, grammatical errors occur in several sentence patterns. For example, “The cutting of plant take place” has an incorrect article and verb agreement, and “water and amine oxide is added” needs a plural verb. The opening fragment, “That contains several stages,” is not correctly connected to the preceding sentence, and punctuation is often missing after full stops. There are also awkward tense and clause constructions, such as “this soften fiber is spinned.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete sentence boundaries, while retaining your attempts at varied structures.
