Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify the process as a sequence of nine stages and report its main progression from planting and harvesting bamboo through processing the fibres, making yarn and weaving fabric. You also include the seasonal details and the final clothing examples, which are relevant. However, the overview is vague: “ended upto fabric stuffs” does not clearly summarise the transformation from bamboo to finished products. Some steps are also imprecise or incomplete; for example, the diagram shows fibres being spun into yarn, but “it became in the sahpe of yarn and then roll it” does not clearly describe spinning. The response is also below the required 150 words. Add a clearer overview and explain each key transformation accurately.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response follows the process in the correct general order, and sequencing expressions such as “Firstly,” “next,” “after that” and “in lastley” help the reader follow the stages. However, the organisation is limited to three short paragraphs, with the main process compressed into one long paragraph. Several transitions are awkward or unclear, particularly “following this Those pulp” and “Additionley make those exatracted fiber Soft.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, which further interrupts the flow. Group the stages into clearer sentences and use transitions that show the relationship between each step—for example, processing the pulp, treating the fibres, and then making the fabric and clothing.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant process vocabulary, including “harvest,” “strips,” “liquid pulp,” “filtered,” “fibers,” “Amine Oxide,” “yarn” and “weave.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of the stages. However, spelling errors are frequent, including “bumboo,” “fabris,” “exatracted” and “sahpe,” and some word choices or collocations are inaccurate: “factory product” and “fabric stuffs” are not natural descriptions here. “Roll it” is also imprecise for the diagram’s spinning stage. Aim for accurate process terms and standard spelling, and use phrases such as “finished garments” or “clothing items” for the final products. Proofreading would make your vocabulary clearer and more reliable.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to connect several stages in longer sentences, but the response relies heavily on run-on structures and has frequent errors in sentence formation. For example, “This Diagram illustrate the 9 stages how…” lacks a suitable verb form and linking structure, while “Overall this procedure is consist of…” uses an incorrect verb pattern. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “Planting a bamboo” and “those Harvested Bamboo.” Capitalisation and punctuation errors make sentence boundaries difficult to identify, especially in the long process paragraph. Use a mix of shorter, complete sentences and carefully controlled complex sentences. Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb forms, such as “The process consists of nine stages” and “the fibres are softened.”
