Student answer (Band 5.5)
Undeniably, the dressing style of individuals is influenced by a changing global fashion trends. Today's advanced world, it is very easy to keep up with day-to-day fashion changes through social medial . Every individual has their own perspective on this point of view; in my opinion, the influence of fashion can be considered both an advantage and a disadvantage among people .
The potential benefit of this fashion is an increase in an international tarde. Precisely, the demand for those dresses give rise to an international market. Not only this , it helps in accelerating the overall economical devlopment of a nation . For instance, caurdset ( female dress) is introduced in india but many ladies get to know about this fashion tbhrough instagram .It creats curosity to purchase it among ladies in abroad .Thus, increased demand leads tp its availablity in abroad from india, which directly effected the revenue of the nation(abroad) .
Whereas, on the otherhand this is having a opposite impact on yougsters due to which crime rates are increasing . In few nations like india and Pakistan people use to cover their whole body .A naked legs are not acceped in these communities but young poulation get influnced from the western dressup and started dressing up keeping their half body naked . As the result of these influnces crime rates like rape are increasing in underdevolped nations Moreover ,they also learnt few bad habits like smoking and drinking as a part if fashion and modernation
Although infulence of fashion is giving a good income to the authorities but as the same time its naegative impact among teenagers can not be ingonered .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that global fashion has both benefits and drawbacks, and you attempt to address both parts of the question. The discussion of international trade is relevant, with the example of a dress becoming known through Instagram and then attracting overseas buyers. However, the question asks how global fashion became such a strong influence, and this is only touched on through social media rather than explained in depth. The negative argument also relies on broad claims linking Western clothing to rape and other crimes, without evidence or a clear explanation of the connection. Develop the causes more fully and support each main point with specific, carefully reasoned examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on drawbacks, and a concluding statement. This helps the reader identify your two-sided position. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly where the example moves from Instagram exposure to overseas availability and national revenue. Linking expressions such as “Whereas” and “Moreover” are used, but some connections are abrupt or do not clearly show the relationship between ideas. The conclusion repeats the contrast rather than bringing the argument together. Use clearer topic sentences, organise each paragraph around one main claim, and explain how each example supports that claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “international market,” “overall economic development,” “influenced,” and “crime rates.” This shows some ability to discuss fashion’s economic and social effects. However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “social medial,” “tarde,” “availablity,” and “modernation.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, including “a naked legs” and “fashion can be considered both an advantage and a disadvantage among people.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and choosing standard collocations, for example, “the influence of fashion has advantages and disadvantages” and “young people adopt Western styles.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including “Not only this, it helps…” and a sentence beginning “As the result…”. However, complex constructions are often faulty, and frequent errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries sometimes make the meaning hard to follow. For example, “the demand for those dresses give rise” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “young population get influenced…and started dressing up” shifts awkwardly between verb forms. “A naked legs are not accepted” also has an article and plural mismatch. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them with conjunctions. Check agreement, articles, and consistent tense before submitting.
