Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify social media, electronic devices and celebrities as reasons global fashion spreads, which is relevant to the first question. However, the response addresses the task only minimally: the explanation is brief, and the second question—whether this is a positive or negative development—is not answered with a clear, sustained position. You mention that some busy people see following fashion as negative, then begin a positive point about young people, but neither view is explained or supported with a complete example. The response also contains 191 words, below the required 250, so there is not enough development to cover both parts adequately. State your own view clearly and extend each main point with a reason and a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is an attempt to organise the response into an opening, an explanation of fashion’s influence, and paragraphs about negative and positive aspects. This gives the reader some sense of the intended structure. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the position shifts between what “some people think” and the writer’s own view without being clarified. Connections between ideas are often loose, and the final paragraph stops mid-sentence (“try to follow thr”), leaving the argument unfinished. Some linking phrases, such as “Overall” and “To intiate with,” do not clearly signal the relationship between the points that follow. Use a clear paragraph plan, make each paragraph develop one point, and finish with a conclusion that restates your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “global fashion trends,” “social media,” “advertising,” “celebrities,” and “styles,” so the general subject is recognisable. However, the range is basic and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make the meaning harder to understand, such as “heavy impect,” “adoption of dresses,” and “in shape of show the love.” Repetition of “different types” and “persons” also limits precision. Aim for more natural collocations and accurate word forms, for example, describe people as being “influenced by” trends or “imitating” a celebrity’s style. Proofread spelling carefully, and choose vocabulary that expresses the intended idea directly rather than relying on vague phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts to combine ideas in longer sentences, particularly when explaining how people see celebrities online, but control of sentence structure is limited. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur frequently, as in “global fashion trends is,” “many persons uses,” and “they uses.” Articles, plurals and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, making some sentences difficult to follow; the opening, for instance, joins several ideas without clear punctuation. The final sentence is incomplete, so its grammatical meaning cannot be established. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then connect them with subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, use full stops to separate complete ideas, and ensure every sentence has a finished main clause.
