Student answer (Band 5.0)
Now a days, many people are impressed by global fashion. People trying to dress that trends globally. I think its not much good for everyone because it is not always in a good sense or not match the local culture.
Firstly, its a good to influences by the trends, try new dress and follow the thing that usually people try and impressed by it. It also increase sense of dressing and enhance your physical appearance. People usually follow their favourite personality like some famous person in the world. They try to see and look like them and they think that by looking and doing things like them, they also become like them. It can effect their lives in both good and bad manners. With the some advantages of it, there are so much drawbacks of it.
The disadvantages of following global fashion is that many people are trying to following trends without worry about that it can really affect their lives. They just doing that because it is treding in the society. But donot seeing their budget, financial condition and how it damages their lives. Some other disadvantages are like they forget their local culture and just follow tredns.
In concluion, i would say that if we want that people use local products and follow trends . Local products are promote and use. The advantage of using local products is that it you are paying less and products are easily available. The another thing is that trying to follow those trends that are in your budget.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view that global fashion can have both benefits and drawbacks, and you identify relevant concerns such as overspending and losing touch with local culture. You also mention possible benefits, including improved appearance and inspiration from celebrities. However, the task asks how global fashion became such a strong influence, and this part is only touched on through references to famous people and trends; there is little explanation of how media, online platforms, or international brands spread them. Your position is also not fully consistent: you begin by saying the development is not good, then describe benefits, and conclude mainly by recommending local products and affordable trends. Develop the causes and make your positive-or-negative judgement consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, one on disadvantages, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main topics. However, progression between ideas is limited, and some links are repetitive or unclear. For example, “With the some advantages of it, there are so much drawbacks of it” announces a contrast but does not develop the relationship between the points. The conclusion shifts to promoting local products without clearly summarising the earlier argument. Some sentences also run together, as in “It can effect their lives in both good and bad manners. With the some advantages…” Use clearer paragraph focus, connect each example to the main claim, and make the conclusion follow directly from your stated position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small range of topic-related vocabulary, including “global fashion,” “local culture,” “financial condition,” and “local products,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, vocabulary is often repetitive or used in inaccurate combinations, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “impressed by global fashion,” “increase sense of dressing,” and “follow the thing that usually people try” are not natural ways to express your ideas. Spelling errors such as “treding,” “tredns,” and “concluion” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise range for discussing influence and consumer behaviour, and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including explanations with “because” and examples introduced by “like.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns, verb forms, agreement, and articles. For instance, “People trying to dress that trends globally” lacks a finite verb and has an unclear structure; “It also increase” has incorrect subject–verb agreement; and “many people are trying to following trends” uses an incorrect verb form. Other examples include “its a good to influences” and “The another thing.” These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb patterns and verb forms before adding more complex clauses, and use full stops to separate complete sentences.
