Student answer (Band 5.0)

There are many more aspects that public dressing sence get influenced by worldwide. Nowadays , People want to look and follow trend as same as the influencer do. I strongly do not agree with this statement.

Firstly, Many more clothing companies choose influencer as a model of there brand as such by there followers get attract to it and do purchase the same dress the model wear. Also it can lead to waste of money. For instances , If the product quality get good then the same person suggest other two to purchase. Overall, companies get their profit. But buying the clothes which model wore lead to waste of money as it is costly too.

Secondly , It's important to stay with the trend but buying clothes unnecessary to showcase and look good . Can affect saving money which has been earned for future use. It can cause negative development . Also spend money on clothes that much need. Nowadays people get so much addicted to the trend that they feel like if they want follow they look ugly. However, To walk with trend everytime and follow get false impression.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that global fashion trend can affect in a wrong manner and can create many problem including wasting money , get wrong addiction of buying unnecessary clothes . It can also affect overall growth of development As nowadays public are very much influence in following trends and it lead to affect of upcming generation too .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You take a clear negative position, stating that you “do not agree” and concluding that global fashion can have harmful effects. Your points about influencer marketing and unnecessary spending are relevant, but the response only partly answers the question: it gives little explanation of how global fashion became influential beyond companies using influencers, and the positive-or-negative judgement is not consistently framed in relation to the development itself. Several claims, such as fashion causing “wrong addiction” or affecting the “overall growth of development,” are unclear or unsupported. To strengthen the response, explain the mechanisms more fully—for example, social media, international brands, and online shopping—and develop each effect with a specific example and a clear link to your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main points about influencer promotion and spending. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links between ideas are difficult to follow. For instance, the sentence about a satisfied customer recommending a product to “other two” shifts abruptly to company profit, while the second paragraph moves from saving money to feeling ugly and then to a “false impression” without explaining the connections. Linking phrases such as “Also” and “However” are sometimes mechanical or do not clarify the relationship. Organise each paragraph around one main idea and use clearer cause-and-effect links.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “influencer,” “clothing companies,” “product quality,” “trend,” and “saving money,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “public dressing sence,” “follow trend,” “wrong addiction,” and “overall growth of development.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “there” for “their” and “upcming,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise phrases and check spelling: for example, describe people as being “influenced by fashion trends” and explain that they may “overspend on clothes” or feel pressure to keep up with changing styles.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional sentence beginning “If the product quality…” and clauses introduced by “that” and “which.” However, many sentences contain errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, or verb forms, and these sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “the same dress the model wear,” “buying clothes unnecessary to showcase,” and “it lead to affect of upcming generation.” Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “Nowadays , People” and “However, To.” Work first on forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and verb forms. Reading each sentence aloud can help identify fragments and awkward clause connections.
