Student answer (Band 5.0)
The topic has become a subject of considerable debate, with some people arguing that global fashion become a trend and living a strong influence on peoples life, while others maintain that it leaves a negative effects.Althought both persepectives have their merits,I firmly believe that it leaves both impact on humans life but I am more on postive side .This essay will examine the key arguments supporting my position before reaching a reasoned conclusion.
The primary reason for this viewpoint is that new generation prefer to follow the trends. This is largely because new generation want to try new fashion styles that have mostly seen on social media because want to stay in touch with social life.Another important consideration is that try new things which can significantly contribute to try every culture dressing like you can try there styling which gives you a postive vibes and you can enjoy different styles. For example now a days crop tpos are getting in so,people are getting attracted and everybody is buying it because it is in trend. Therefore,I think it is a good thing because in this way you stay in touch and you also try new things so,these factors demonstrates why I prefer it.
Furthermore,a compelling argument in favour of this position is that not compulsary to follow trends. This can be attributes to the fact that it is not compulsary for everyone to follow the trends. Moreover,it can be hectic like you cant follow everthing everytime so time you also want to stay in your comfort. For instance, sometime there are styles that are not good or not according to your taste .So,thats why i also say that have both the negative and postive effects like may be sometime you want to follow the trend but sometime you also want stay in your comfort zone.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a broadly positive view and acknowledge that fashion trends can also have drawbacks, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the task asks both how global fashion became influential and whether this is positive or negative. The discussion of social media offers one reason for its influence, but the explanation is brief; the point about trying styles from different cultures is also unclear and not fully supported. Your position shifts between “more on positive side” and saying there are both positive and negative effects, without clearly weighing them. Develop the causes more specifically and state which side you ultimately consider stronger, then support that judgement with a clear example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction and two body paragraphs, and linking expressions such as “For example,” “Furthermore,” and “For instance” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, there is no concluding paragraph, and the overall progression is difficult to follow: the second body paragraph begins as an argument in favour, then mainly explains why people need not follow trends. Several ideas are repeated, including that trends are optional and that fashion has both positive and negative effects. Some links are mechanical or unclear, as in “Therefore, I think it is a good thing because in this way you stay in touch.” Organise the essay around distinct reasons, use clear references between sentences, and finish with a conclusion that restates your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “global fashion,” “trends,” “social media,” “styles,” and “comfort zone,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, sometimes making the meaning hard to interpret. For example, “leaves a negative effects,” “postive vibes,” and “stay in touch with social life” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “persepectives,” “compulsary,” and “everthing” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of expressions for causes and effects, and check spelling and word forms carefully. Aim to replace repeated general terms such as “things” and “good” with specific descriptions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “which,” but the longer structures are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “new generation prefer,” “because want to stay,” and “it is not compulsary for everyone to follow the trends,” where sentence construction and agreement need attention. Articles, plurals, and verb forms are also inconsistent, as in “a negative effects” and “global fashion become.” Punctuation and spacing are weak, particularly where commas run into the next word or sentences are joined without clear boundaries. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them with one controlled subordinate clause.
