Student answer (Band 6.5)
As the topic says that dressing fashion is highly influenced from global fashio trends; Yes, I partially agree to it and it have positive and negative influence on developement which is explained further.
For the positive effect on developement, it is a good kind of adaptation from the global trends as it helps in global socialization, modern acceptance of fashion,as well as unity at global rate. It also helps in going with trend situation, which helps people to adapt the upcoming situations. As an example; i have seen a drastic change in peoples mindset for different races , but due to this it helps lower races to get along with other races and make a tie to tie balance with fashion sence. further more like any lower race people teach others for compelete newe fashion trends.
As in the counter part, it affects the countries developemnt by distorting their culture and slowly accumulating there new cultural values. This is a major draw-back in the modern days as it is slowly eredicates the old prestigue cultures which are been preserved by generations of generations. And for an Example; like in India, western fashion trends is affecting Indian cultures and their values (i.e; a formal cultural saree is slowly been replaced by jeans and western fashion for festival and cultural moments, which holds major importance in old genreations eye and for cultural glory of coutry).
From this I could conclude that fashion trends is good in many ways but as it affects the cultural values it is effects very much negative impact on any countires cultural heritage and prestigue. So I could say that it is neither good nor bad but a persons Point Of View and acceptance mainly effects the development.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for the influence of global fashion and providing a balanced view on whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the explanation of how fashion aids 'global socialization' is vague and lacks clear logical progression. The example regarding India is relevant but the explanation of the cultural impact remains repetitive. To reach a higher band, you need to provide more depth in your arguments and ensure that your position is consistently clear throughout the essay rather than concluding that it is 'neither good nor bad'.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'As in the counter part' and 'tie to tie balance' are awkward and do not effectively link ideas. The transition between the positive and negative aspects is abrupt. While there is an overall progression, the lack of sophisticated linking words and the occasional misuse of referencing (e.g., 'there new cultural values' instead of 'their') hinder the flow of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'fashio', 'developement', 'eredicates', 'prestigue', 'coutry') and word choice issues, such as 'lower races' and 'old genreations eye'. These errors occasionally make the meaning slightly unclear. To improve, you should focus on using more academic collocations and ensuring accurate spelling of key terms. The range of vocabulary is limited to common words, and there is little attempt to use less common or idiomatic expressions effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'fashion trends is good'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'which holds major importance in old genreations eye'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of semicolons and commas. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable and suggest a lack of control over complex structures. More attention to basic sentence construction and proofreading is required.
