Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays global fashion trends have significant influenced on the way people dress. According to my opinion it is the positive development because it give people more choice and allow them to learn different culture.
People dress today are important influenced by global fashion trend. I think nowadays all people use the social media. If some thing trending on social media than most of the people follow this. The main things behind this is online shopping pages, social media infulencers etc. If fashion trend is viral in social media then spread all over the world with in minutes. For Example If one film release and in this film actor wear some thing new and unique that attract the people very much. So using the social media this actor dress viral all over the world because most of the infulencers, shopping apps etc follow this. So it make the hipe of this trend that's why people follow this.
I this this is positive development because if some one new in market then it spread all over the world and another benefit is people easily access it using shopping apps. The main positive development is each individual get good quality things all over the world. For Example if i need to buy new clothes and i not know what i buy and which clothes is best for me so i follow the fashion trend using social media and i also trending thing online using shopping apps. There is no need to go in market.
Conclusion is that global fashion trend have signeficient influenced on the way people dress due to social media, actors, shopping apps, etc. People also easily buy quality products online

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying social media and influencers as key drivers of fashion trends and expressing a positive view regarding consumer choice and accessibility. However, the development of these ideas is limited. The arguments are somewhat repetitive, and the examples provided (such as a film actor wearing something new) are simplistic and lack depth. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your reasoning with more sophisticated analysis of the global impact of fashion, rather than focusing primarily on the convenience of online shopping. The position is clear, but the overall development remains basic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical progression of ideas is often hindered by a lack of cohesive devices. Transitions between sentences are frequently missing or repetitive (e.g., starting multiple sentences with 'So' or 'If'). The use of referencing is sometimes unclear, making the flow of the argument feel mechanical. To improve, you should use a wider variety of linking words and phrases (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') to connect your ideas more fluidly and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, central topic sentence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'infulencers', 'signeficient', 'hipe') and some awkward collocations (e.g., 'make the hipe of this trend'). While you are able to communicate your basic meaning, the vocabulary is repetitive and lacks the sophistication needed to discuss the topic of global fashion trends in depth. Focusing on learning topic-specific collocations and proofreading for common spelling mistakes will significantly improve your score in this area.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('global fashion trends have significant influenced') and incorrect word forms ('it give people'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly regarding the use of commas. To achieve a higher band, you need to demonstrate a better command of complex structures, such as relative clauses or conditional sentences, while ensuring that your basic grammar remains accurate. Frequent errors in tense and word form currently impede the overall fluency of the writing.
