Student answer (Band 5.0)
Many people dress today and are literally influenced by global fashion trends. People that are on social media, which are influencers, can set the trend on a daily basis.
Many of the people who follow the influencer also dress according to their style and also follow the haircut according to them. Brands also advertise their product by influencers. Using brands, things are also the global fashion trends, such as LV products, which are to much famouse in all over the world. This is the positive development people are updating about the fashion trends.
On the negative side of the development, people waste too much money on different types of products due to influencers. Some people don't have money to purchase these products. They can't follow the trends; people disrespect them. In these days people judge the personality according to the dress or fashion. That's why it has a negative impact on the community.
Many of the children like footballers; they can buy all the products that he uses or also follow his haircut, also use the same perfume etc.
In my opinion, there is a positive development in global fashion trends; people are updating day by day and also know that which type of dress they wear in which type of event or place such as, in office they wear shorts and T shirt which is not perfect for office, they wear dress shirt and panet in office which is perfect dressing for office. That's why i agree about the influenced by global fashion trends.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying social media influencers as the primary driver of fashion trends and discussing both positive and negative impacts. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding office attire is confusing and lacks logical clarity, as it contradicts the initial premise of global fashion trends. The position is stated but not consistently supported with sophisticated reasoning. To improve, you should focus on providing more detailed explanations and ensuring that your examples directly support your main arguments rather than introducing tangential points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes mechanical, such as the repetitive use of 'also' and 'many of the'. Transitions between paragraphs are weak, making the flow feel abrupt. For example, the jump from the negative impact of social pressure to the example of footballers lacks a clear linking sentence. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'to much famouse' instead of 'very famous' and 'panet' instead of 'pants' or 'trousers'. The repetition of basic terms like 'products', 'people', and 'fashion trends' limits the sophistication of the response. To achieve a higher score, you should work on using more precise collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition and demonstrate a broader control of academic vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'people that are on social media, which are influencers' and 'know that which type of dress they wear'. Punctuation is inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. Subject-verb agreement and article usage also show frequent errors (e.g., 'the global fashion trends'). To improve, focus on mastering the construction of complex sentences using subordinating conjunctions and ensuring consistent accuracy in basic verb tenses and pluralisation.
