Student answer (Band 6.0)
global fashion has gained widespread popularity in today's world. this is largely due to the creativity of people and cultural exchange. From my perspective this is great way to culture exchange and love towards other nations and global fashion become strong influence on people's lives.
In recent years, global fashion has positive development on people's lives because fashion trends evolve rapidly. Most of the individuals want to emulate fashion influencers. For example, Miss Lawrence a fashion queen in USA and her fans tried to copy her fashion such as designing styles and catwalk style because they like her. I believe global fashion increase rapidly all over around the world.
On the other hand, social media accelerates the dissemination of trends. In addition, frequent changes in fashion trends can fuel consumer demand for new clothing. one significant advantage is that it can provide individuals with broader range of styles, so it's easy which to choose. Global fashion trends can also foster creativity and encourage people to express their individuality. For Instance, many people read a magazine called fashion, this magazine encourage people to create and follow trends that are popular on global. I strongly believe this is a largely positive development on worldwide because global fashion promote creativity and gives individuals greater freedom to express their identity through clothing.
In conclusion, I firmly believe global fashion has positive development because it increases accessibility and also provide greater freedom of choice. However, it encourages cultural exchange and foster creativity to express their individuality. In addition, global fashion becomes such a strong influence on people's lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the influence of global fashion and whether it is a positive or negative development. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention social media and consumer demand, the arguments lack depth and specific analysis. For instance, the example of 'Miss Lawrence' is not clearly linked to the broader concept of global influence, and the mention of a magazine called 'fashion' is vague. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully explained with logical reasoning rather than just stating that something is a 'positive development'. The position is clear, but the supporting evidence needs more substance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'In recent years', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the logical progression within paragraphs is occasionally disjointed. For example, the transition from discussing social media to consumer demand could be smoother. Additionally, some referencing is unclear, such as the phrase 'it's easy which to choose', which lacks a clear antecedent. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help create a more natural flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'dissemination', 'individuality', and 'accessibility'. However, there are instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'great way to culture exchange' (should be 'a great way to facilitate cultural exchange') and 'global fashion promote creativity' (subject-verb agreement error). Some phrasing is repetitive, particularly the repeated use of 'positive development'. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring that your vocabulary is used accurately in context rather than relying on simple sentence structures.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You frequently omit articles (e.g., 'in USA', 'on worldwide') and struggle with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'global fashion promote'). There are also punctuation issues, such as the lack of capitalisation at the start of sentences and errors in sentence construction, such as 'it's easy which to choose'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical rules, particularly articles, prepositions, and verb endings.
