Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays people are following the current trend in fashion sector which is rapidly increasing day-by-day mainly the kids who belongs to Gen-Z are mostly influenced by the world fashion trend. In my opinion by following the current trendy fashion trend will give more negative developent than postive in people's thought-process which leads to an major cause of environment.

To begin with, According to the recent development of generation, People are influened by global fashion trend on wearing cloth and accessories with irrespective of their comfort zone. Following the fashion trend is better untill it reaches the limit of it, If it exceeds it people have to think about at what level of our discipline gone till madness on this trend. fashions brands also choose their company growth over fashion trend with any meaningless conceptss

On the other hand, their are lots of consequences created in society which are major drawback of the females who are following so called fashion trend. Here social media is an plotform where the people are going to know about the fashion trend in which they are going to follow it their day-to-day life irrespective of their discipline. For example, According to females who influenced by fashion trend were about dissatatisfy which their fashion but they always go beyond their comfortzone act smart in social media platforms. This leads to an shame in traditional way too. Moreover, it leads to less security for their body in the society. Because people around them are not guratnee to be nice always after follwing fashion trend in a bad manner.

In conclusion, I want to say that, people should follow the global fashion trend in a well-beiing manner not in negative way. In other words, Both male and female must follow the trend to show fashion on their body but not show their body in transprent way. Use the fashion trend with some ethics and follow the fashion in traditionals way.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying social media as a key driver and expressing a clear negative stance regarding the impact on traditional values and safety. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the link between fashion trends and environmental concerns mentioned in the introduction is never revisited or explained. The arguments regarding 'comfort zones' and 'security' are repetitive and lack specific, concrete examples to support the claims. While the position is consistent, the supporting points are often vague, which limits the depth of the response and prevents it from reaching a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' are used, they are sometimes applied mechanically or incorrectly, such as the transition into the second paragraph. Referencing is occasionally confusing, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between social media, fashion, and 'shame' is difficult to follow. The internal structure of sentences is often disjointed, making the overall flow of ideas feel somewhat fragmented rather than cohesive.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'fashion trend' and 'people'. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'meaningless conceptss', 'dissatatisfy', and 'guratnee'. The student attempts to use more complex vocabulary, but these attempts often result in inaccuracies that can cause the reader some effort to interpret the intended meaning. To improve, the student should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring correct spelling and word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'kids who belongs to Gen-Z'), incorrect article usage, and fragmented sentence structures. Punctuation is also problematic, with frequent comma splices and missing full stops. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, these are often structurally flawed, which impacts the clarity of the message. The majority of sentences contain errors, and while the meaning is generally discernible, the lack of control over basic grammar significantly limits the score.
