Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, global fashion has become an important part of people's lives. I believe this is positive develop because of several reasons.
One main reason is that every person want to earn money to become wealthy and serve thier life with fashion dress. For that purpose local community faced some challenges to gain valuable life. Fashion is now a key part of life because the most attraction is related to this. Moreover, school uniforms are also trend to fashion because it effects on personalty of students. For instance, smart school students have definitely effects on those student which are related to non fashionable schools.
Another important reason is that students related to fashion dress are more active , knowledgeable and take care of discipline inside school environment. Publicity is more effected by dress because it shows personalty and wealthiest over another, so every part of life people struggling for gaining valuable life like to earn money for fashionable dresses. For example, people of low income families are likely non more active in some important activity while fashionable communities perform every task on proper way so in modern era dress in one of the most important part of the life because its revealed emotion and perspectivity of individual.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which negatively impacts the task achievement score. While the essay attempts to address both parts of the prompt, the ideas are underdeveloped and often lack logical clarity. For instance, the link between 'earning money' and 'fashionable dress' is not clearly explained, and the argument regarding school uniforms is confusing and lacks a coherent connection to global fashion trends. The position is stated but not consistently supported with relevant or logical examples, leading to a superficial treatment of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover' and 'In conclusion', they are sometimes used mechanically or inappropriately. The referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between 'publicity' and 'dress' is difficult to follow. The logical flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors and unclear phrasing, which hinders the reader's ability to follow the argument smoothly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'serve thier life with fashion dress' and 'perspectivity of individual', which make the meaning unclear. The student struggles to use precise terminology related to the topic of fashion and global trends. While the basic message is understandable, the lack of variety and the persistent errors in word formation and usage prevent the response from reaching a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies primarily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences are often marred by grammatical errors. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every person want', 'students related to fashion dress are more active'), incorrect article usage, and spelling errors (e.g., 'thier', 'personalty'). Punctuation is also inconsistent. These errors occur throughout the text and occasionally impede the reader's understanding of the intended meaning, indicating a lack of control over basic grammatical structures.
