Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying the influence of global fashion and expressing a clear negative stance. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention social media and cultural erosion, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. For instance, the mention of 'western culture attires' having 'abrupt circumstances' on India and Africa is vague and lacks a clear logical link to the prompt. To improve, ensure that each paragraph provides a clear, logical explanation of how the influence occurs and why it is negative, rather than just stating it as a fact. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully synthesize the main points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'Explaining some of the another supporting points on favour of' are awkward and impede the flow. Additionally, some transitions are used incorrectly, such as 'Thus' or 'Therfore' (spelled incorrectly), which do not always logically connect the preceding sentence to the next. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to track the subject matter. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help create a smoother progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'people are tend to adapt', 'respect towards their traditional history and norms is significantly forbidden', and 'alienated contact'. These errors occasionally make the meaning unclear. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'globalization' and 'traditional culture', the overall range is insufficient to express complex ideas with precision. To reach a higher band, focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary rather than relying on general, informal phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally hinder communication. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('people are tend', 'people has a unique urge'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward sentence construction. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often marred by errors, such as 'This results that the global fashion trend has entirely changed in compare to the ancient times.' Punctuation and spelling errors (e.g., 'Therfore', 'decisons') are also present. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures and proofreading for common agreement and tense errors.
