Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the influence of global fashion and the evaluation of this trend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide a relevant example regarding Virat Kohli, the explanation of why this influence is 'positive' is quite brief and lacks depth. The argument could be strengthened by discussing the cultural exchange or the democratization of style rather than just focusing on sales. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting points are fully extended and that your position is consistently maintained throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'On Other hand' and 'After due to trend'. Some sentences are disjointed, making the flow of ideas feel slightly repetitive. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between influencers and the 'impact on people life' is phrased awkwardly. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help create a smoother progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'people lives are impacted' and 'fashion were spreading like a virus'. There are also some word-choice errors, such as 'path people dress' instead of 'way people dress' and 'brand one8'. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to consumer behavior and global trends, rather than relying on repetitive, simple structures.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('fashion were spreading'), tense inconsistencies ('actor or actress may did'), and awkward phrasing ('before three years back'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and missing articles. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic sentence construction prevents the essay from achieving a higher score. Focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and correct verb forms.
