The impact of global fashion industry has been seen in everyone's life. One of the major factor for influence is social media, because many folks get encourage to buy expensive clothes that they see on internet which are out of budget which leads them to financial crisis. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the influence of global fashion and the evaluation of whether this is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media and the desire for social status as reasons, these points are not fully explored. Similarly, the discussion on culture is relevant but lacks depth. The position is clear, but the arguments could be more effectively supported with more specific examples or logical elaboration. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended rather than just stated.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'Moreover', and 'Nevertheless' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the transition 'In addition' which does not perfectly connect the previous thought to the next. Additionally, there are some issues with referencing; for instance, 'the influence have flaws' is grammatically weak and disrupts the flow. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help create a smoother progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to discuss the topic, using terms like 'global fashion trends', 'financial crisis', and 'preserve our heritage'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'everyone's life' instead of 'everyone's lives', 'getting use to with' instead of 'getting used to', and 'impacting socially' which is imprecise. The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Focusing on learning common collocations and ensuring word forms are correct will significantly improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Subject-verb agreement is a recurring issue, such as 'the influence have flaws' (should be 'has') and 'many people wants' (should be 'want'). There are also errors with articles and pluralisation, such as 'one of the major factor' (should be 'factors') and 'their are lot of individuals' (should be 'there are a lot of'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. Focusing on basic subject-verb agreement and article usage is essential.
