Student answer (Band 5.0)
Technology rise up our preferences also high up. In the era of internet every one is scrolling and follows trends. Trend may be a dress, a shoes, a car, coat etc.
I think this a negative impact on many peoples life. First of all if i talk about dresses , some peoples not well dressed they wear half penties, shirts etc and in many countries this may consider awkward.
Likewise, we exists in the scrolling world it is vital for us to follow trends if we can not include ourselves , so we called uneducated.
Here i want to give an example if an uneducated villager see on the mobile phone, half dresses women enjoying , so it may a very bad impact on the daughters of this villager.
He never sent his daughter in a school, or college because in his mind it is due to the educational institutions. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to convince such persons like educated one.
Furthermore, we adopt bad habits soon campared to good things.
The second disadvantages on middle class they wish to follow trends to behaive like elite class. Additionally as we know trending things becomes expensive so normal class do not afford and they deppressed also cause of fight in families. In this way i completely disagree and can not follow the trends.
On the other hand trends also have some advantages but for elite class who they follow them to purchase first .
In conclusion media should influence positive vibes and spread positiveness every where.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying the influence of technology and expressing a negative view. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times unclear. For instance, the argument regarding the 'uneducated villager' is difficult to follow and lacks a direct logical link to global fashion trends. The points about financial pressure on the middle class are more relevant but remain underdeveloped. To improve, you should focus on providing clearer, more logical explanations for your arguments and ensure that your examples directly support your main points rather than introducing tangential narratives.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, which helps the overall structure. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as the abrupt transition in 'Likewise, we exists in the scrolling world'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') and ensure that each sentence logically follows the previous one to create a smoother reading experience.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'Technology rise up our preferences also high up' and 'half penties'. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to express more complex ideas precisely. To reach a higher band, you should work on expanding your range of vocabulary, specifically focusing on topic-related collocations and more sophisticated synonyms for common words. Reading academic articles or model essays will help you see how to use words in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('we exists', 'some peoples not well dressed'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack the necessary complexity expected at higher levels. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the text from being considered accurate. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of plural forms before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
