In this contemporary society, The way individuals dress mostly depend on international fashion trends. Dressing plays a significant role in individuals life. Numerous individuals are getting inspire because of worldwide trends.

From my perspective this is a negative development. This will be discussed in this essay.

To begin with, Why Individuals are adapting global fashion trends? This is probably happening because of social media. Individuals are spending most of their time on the internet. Constantly watching videos of their famous celebrities and listening about various vogues encourages them to try different outfits. Individuals are doing this because of strong and eye catching models. Seeing something on internet daily. Develops a curiosity in them to try that dress.

Lot of individuals are dressing strange outfits believing it will look good on them as it looked on well known celebrities. However what happen is quite opposite of this. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address both parts of the prompt—explaining the influence of global fashion and stating your opinion—the arguments are underdeveloped. For instance, you mention social media as a driver but do not fully explore the psychological or economic mechanisms behind this influence. The conclusion is missing, and the essay ends abruptly mid-sentence. To improve, you must expand your points with specific examples and ensure a complete structure including a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into short paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is disjointed. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link sentences and arguments effectively. For example, the transition between the influence of social media and the negative impact of 'strange outfits' is abrupt. The use of referencing is sometimes unclear, and the paragraphing is inconsistent, with some sentences standing alone. To improve, use linking words such as 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' or 'in contrast' to guide the reader through your argument and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, unified focus.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive. You rely on simple terms like 'individuals' and 'dress' throughout the text. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'listening about various vogues' (which is unnatural) and 'loosing their elegance' (where 'losing' is the correct spelling). While the meaning is generally clear, the range is limited, and there is little attempt to use more sophisticated or academic vocabulary appropriate for an IELTS Task 2 essay. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise academic terms would improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'The way individuals dress mostly depend' (should be 'depends') and 'Why Individuals are adapting' (which is a statement, not a question). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several sentence fragments and incorrect capitalization. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct subject-verb agreement, and proofreading for common errors like spelling and punctuation before finalizing your work.
