It has been observed that many people dress today influencing by global fashion trends. There are myriad of benefits as well as drawbacks of global fashion trends. Both the pros and cons are elaborated in the ensuring passage.

Examining the brighter side of the global fashion sense, the foremost one is upliftment of the living standards of the people. The dressing sense reflects the individuals lifestyle.People today are judged by their dressing sense rather than their earnings. For instance,if a person is well dressed ,they are known as the people of higher class society. However ,if a person is simply dressed or wore a filthy dress no one consider him/her as a higher class people. Moreover,it also develops the positive vibes to individual.People become more optimistic after wearing the trending clothes as they can confidently present in the society.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the influence of global fashion and providing an opinion on whether it is positive or negative. However, the essay falls short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which limits the depth of development. While the ideas regarding social status and financial pressure are relevant, they are somewhat underdeveloped and rely on generalizations. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments could be more robustly explained to reach a higher band. The under-length nature of the response significantly impacts the overall task achievement score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover', 'On the contrary', and 'To begin with', though some transitions feel a bit mechanical. There are issues with punctuation, specifically missing spaces after commas (e.g., 'sense, the', 'dressed ,they'), which disrupts the flow of the text. Paragraphing is present, but the overall progression of ideas is slightly repetitive in the conclusion, which mirrors the introduction too closely rather than synthesizing the main points effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing or incorrect word choices, such as 'upliftment of the living standards' (a non-standard collocation) and 'mentally sick' (which is imprecise). The student relies on basic vocabulary like 'good' or 'bad' concepts, though they attempt some topic-specific terms like 'financial strain'. Spelling is generally accurate, but the lack of variety in word choice and the presence of unnatural collocations prevent a higher score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'influencing by' instead of 'influenced by', 'a myriad of' (missing 'a'), 'can't able to' (a double modal error), and 'it may leads to' (subject-verb agreement error). Punctuation is also a recurring issue, with inconsistent spacing after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors indicates a lack of control over complex structures, keeping the score in the 5.5 range.
