The global fashion trends development has favourable effects . one major effect is provides facility to people to wears according to their desires and their mind set . Due this system the people becomes able to wear whats they like . For example in the developing country people became feeling bore by wearing their traditional dresses in the same designed . By this development people becomes able to wears different designed dresses coming from all over the world and wear every time new design
Besides these blessing points the global fashion trends has curse on the people and on their daily life . The main unfavourable effect of the global fashion trends is that its produces competition of fashion between the people . Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying global fashion as both a positive and negative development. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention 'desires' and 'mindset' as positive aspects, the explanation remains superficial. Similarly, the negative points regarding 'competition' and 'wastage of money' are mentioned but not fully explored with depth or specific, well-supported examples. The position is clear, but the overall argument lacks the complexity and extension required for a higher band score. To improve, focus on providing more detailed explanations and concrete examples to support your claims.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'Besides these blessing points' and 'Due this system'. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, and the logical flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing. While there is a basic attempt at paragraphing, the transitions between ideas could be smoother and more varied to improve the overall coherence of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'good point', 'bad point', and 'dresses'. There are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'blessing points', 'curse on the people', and 'mostly the young people effected'. These errors occasionally make the meaning slightly unclear. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary, including more precise academic collocations and synonyms, while ensuring that words are used in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the readability of the text. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the people becomes able', 'its makes competition'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'able to wears'), and missing articles or prepositions. There is a limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are often marred by errors. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of basic grammatical mistakes prevents the response from achieving a higher score. Focusing on fundamental sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be highly beneficial.
