Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response attempts to address both parts of the prompt regarding why global fashion influences lives and whether this is positive or negative. However, the candidate's argument is severely underdeveloped and incomplete. Furthermore, the response is cut off mid-sentence at 193 words, failing the 250-word minimum length requirement significantly. While a position is stated (negative development), the ideas are not adequately supported or extended due to the abrupt ending and limited content. Based on these limitations, the response falls into the lower bands for Task Achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The text attempts a logical structure with introductory and body paragraph markers such as "To start with" and "Furthermore". However, the paragraphing breaks down as the essay cuts off prematurely, and cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical (e.g., "Which vindication would be elobrated in upcoming paragraph"). Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the overall organization lacks smooth progression and clear cohesive flow between sentences.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent word-choice and spelling errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples include "incresingly", "moives", "platform", "Nowdays", "diaglouges", and "elobrated". While there are basic attempts at topic-related vocabulary like "global fashion trends" and "role model", the range is limited, and spelling errors are numerous and distracting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at complex structures are consistently faulty, such as in "Celebrities are incresingly becoming role model for the youth as there images and lifestyle are shown across the internet also in moives..." Punctuation and subject-verb agreement errors are frequent throughout the text, including incorrect pronoun usage (e.g., "there" instead of "their"), which causes considerable difficulty for the reader.
