Many aspects of the way people dress today are influenced by global fashion trends.

How has global fashion become such a strong influence on people's lives? Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, the dressing sense of the people is substantially effected by the global fashion trends. It is becoming the debated topic and also a heated topic today. In this essay, i will describe that how global fashion effects the people mentallity and also it is a positive approach.

Today means the modern era where the science and modern development became the part of our daily life. Everyone have a smartphone which play a substainable role in people lifes. mobilephone have some trending apps which are massively used by new youth for instance, tiktok moreover instagram where celebrities and other personalities regularly post their daily lifestyle and other circumstances which greatly approaches by the audience and people greatly influenced by them. Moreover there are various other reason behind this but more common is that now people judge other by their personallity and there dressing or fashion sense that's why it affects society for adopting new fashion trend.

Although, It have both negative and positive impact of the society and the main disadvantage is that the elderly who believes on culture and traditional dresses, they dislikes the current fashion trends and pursuade youth to adopt their fashion trend. But with the passage of time these traditional and the cultural dresses become less intrested by the youth and mostly gen-z prefer new global trend for instance, modern youth prefer baggy and loose dress over old fashion dress which include skinny jeans etc. That's the substantial effect of global fashion trend on young people so they choose new sense of fashion which suits modern lifestyle.

According to my perspective, adopting new global fashion trends are more equisite then old aged dressing sense becsause it suits the modern lifestyle So, its positive development outweight its negative developments.
