Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to address both parts of the prompt regarding how global fashion influences lives and whether this is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is severely limited due to the under-length nature of the text, as the response stops abruptly mid-sentence with only 203 words produced, falling short of the 250-word minimum. While the writer states a clear position ('I am defending the negative side'), the arguments are repetitive and lack sufficient support. Examples provided are superficial and underdeveloped. Consequently, the task is only partially addressed, which aligns with the criteria for Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay attempts a traditional structure with an introduction and body paragraphs, utilising transition markers such as 'Firstly' and 'However'. However, the organisation breaks down due to the abrupt ending and poor paragraphing choices, such as overly brief, fragmented sentences. Cohesive devices are often inaccurate or mechanically applied, as seen in 'Additionally global fastion influencing them now a days.' Referencing is unclear in places, and the overall progression is hindered by repetitive phrasing and disjointed thoughts. This level of organisation and cohesion reflects Band 5.0 descriptors.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, featuring frequent spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally strain the reader's comprehension. Examples include misspelled words like 'word' instead of 'world', 'influnced', 'Additionaly', 'fastion', 'accessable', 'follwing', 'newley discoverd', and 'globasl'. The range of vocabulary is limited, and attempts at less common words result in noticeable inaccuracies. While the topic is identifiable, the density of lexical errors places this performance firmly at Band 4.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty and ungrammatical, such as 'One of the main reason why most of the people following the global fashion trend is to keep them selves updated.' There are frequent errors in verb forms, subject-verb agreement ('fashion trends has'), and punctuation. Because the essay is incomplete and ends mid-sentence, the overall grammatical control is significantly undermined, characteristic of a Band 4.0 performance.
