yes today all the peoples dress like global fashion. they only dress those clothes who are in trends they have no any problem is this suits suit them or not. in my opinion i am also wear my dresses as a global fashion and new trending clothes but i think before buying new trends clothes that it suits me or not . i can buy only those clothes who are suits my personality and establish my personality i hate baggy clothes these are very uncomfortable for me but our peoples can buy and wear these clothes if they feel comfortable or not they dont think about it and wear and they also not think about that this trend suits and enhance their personality or not i think so thyis is the strong side effect of these type of trends because our peoples have not enough knowledge this is the main reason of our people not think before doing anything.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response attempts to address both parts of the prompt, discussing why global fashion is influential and offering a personal opinion on whether it is a positive or negative development. However, the ideas are severely underdeveloped due to the extremely short length of only 159 words, which falls well short of the 250-word minimum requirement. The position is stated—claiming that following trends without considering personal suitability is a side effect—but it is not extended or supported with well-developed examples. The discussion remains superficial and repetitive, particularly regarding people wearing clothes regardless of comfort or personality enhancement. Consequently, the task is only partially addressed, which directly impacts the overall score for this criterion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response is written as a single, uninterrupted block of text without any paragraph breaks, which significantly undermines its structural coherence. There is a lack of clear logical organization and progression throughout the writing. While basic cohesive devices and pronouns are used, such as 'they', 'these', and 'because', referencing is often confusing and repetitive, making it difficult to follow the flow of ideas. For instance, sentences run into one another without adequate punctuation or transition markers. This results in a disjointed structure where information is not arranged coherently, aligning closely with the descriptors for Band 4.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, relying heavily on everyday words like 'clothes', 'dress', 'people', and 'trend' without demonstrating a sufficient range for the task. There are noticeable word-choice errors and unnatural collocations throughout the text, such as 'all the peoples dress like global fashion' and 'i am also wear my dresses'. The student attempts to use phrases like 'establish my personality' and 'strong side effect', but these show limited control and precision. Because the lexical range is narrow and restricted, errors in word formation and choice are frequent, resulting in a performance that fits the lower end of the Band 5 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting almost entirely of simple or strung-together clauses connected by coordinating conjunctions, with a complete absence of accurate complex sentence structures. There is a total lack of standard punctuation, as the entire text runs on without capital letters or proper sentence boundaries. Frequent and severe errors occur across the writing, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'our peoples can buy' and tense errors such as 'i am also wear'. These persistent grammatical inaccuracies cause frequent difficulty for the reader and distort meaning in places, meaning the performance corresponds to a Band 4.
