Student answer (Band 5.5)
There are various factors in which dressing of Individuals in this contemporary society are usally inspired by worldy fashion trends. The reason it has become global fashion is usually that people are highly influenced by western culture from where it is orginated. In my opinion it has both advantges and disasvantages on the development of members of the society.
It is often argued that, Following the trend doesnot always benefit human beings. In some cases, following patterns of fashion development if a person live in his home country but wears clothes that is not a national dress, it means he is losing its recognition by not representing his culture. For Instance a large number of people in Pakistan wears pent shirt in offices and weddings and considered it is a formal dress of conduct as they are highly encouraged by western trends.
However on the other hand, development of fashion skills also speaks the personality and creativity of the person. Numerous people found it boring to wear one type of clothes so they want varieties. In this contemporary society following theses fashion ideas adds colors to the life. Individuals even found it a way of happiness just to dress differently and be part of the evolutionary ideas.Furthermore, individulas living in foreign country have to follow the dressing sense just to be blend in the society. Beyond this,it is also way people can earn views on social media by just represnting fashion skills and dressing up differently to give content like outfit of the day. Lastly at the global forum people usually dress in the way to convey their agenda.
In the conclusion, following the global fashion ideas have both merits and demerits from being part of this evolutionary development to losing reflectance of its culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both the reasons behind the influence of global fashion and giving an opinion on whether this is a positive or negative development. The writer identifies western culture as the primary catalyst and weighs both the disadvantages (loss of cultural recognition, such as wearing 'pent shirt' instead of national dress in Pakistan) and advantages (personal expression, creativity, social media content, and fitting in abroad). However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and occasionally shifts rapidly between points, particularly in the third paragraph. While a clear position is established in the introduction and maintained throughout, the supporting arguments would benefit from deeper elaboration rather than listing multiple brief examples. Nevertheless, all core requirements of the task are met satisfactorily.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a discernible introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Paragraphing is used to separate different aspects of the prompt, such as disadvantages in the second paragraph and advantages in the third. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. There are noticeable issues with referencing, such as 'Following the trend doesnot always benefit human beings' transitioning abruptly into specific cultural examples, and punctuation errors such as missing spaces after periods (e.g., 'trends. The reason'). Cohesive devices are sometimes used awkwardly or inaccurately, and the logical progression between sentences within paragraphs can feel disjointed, occasionally requiring the reader to work harder to follow the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common lexical items such as 'contemporary society', 'evolutionary ideas', and 'national dress'. However, there are frequent errors in word choice, spelling, and collocation. Examples include 'usally', 'worldy', 'orginated', 'advantges', 'disasvantges', 'doesnot', 'pent shirt', 'reflectance', and 'individulas'. These spelling mistakes and awkward collocations (like 'reflectance of its culture' instead of 'reflection of culture') detract from the quality of the writing. While communication is not severely impeded, the high frequency of lexical and orthographic inaccuracies prevents the response from achieving a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional structures such as 'if a person live in his home country but wears clothes that is not a national dress, it means he is losing its recognition'. However, grammatical accuracy is weak throughout the text. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'dressing of Individuals... are usally inspired', 'a large number of people... wears'), article usage, and prepositions. Punctuation is also problematic, with run-on sentences and missing spaces after terminal punctuation. Although the structure is varied enough to attempt complex sentences, the high density of basic grammatical errors causes some difficulty for the reader.
