Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task only partially. It attempts to discuss how global fashion influences lives and whether this is positive, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed throughout. For instance, the writer states that fashion influencers contribute to the economy and motivate buyers, but this point is not extended with specific examples or clear reasoning. Furthermore, the writer's position is not always entirely clear. Most importantly, the response falls significantly short of the required length, containing only 171 words compared to the minimum of 250 words, which heavily restricts the depth of the discussion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The text demonstrates some organisation with an introduction and two body paragraphs, but there is no clear overall progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are often repetitive, inadequate, or inaccurate, such as starting multiple sentences with 'However' or 'Second positive things'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal flow of ideas is disjointed. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical links between arguments, such as the sudden shift from social media influencers to the retail market in the second body paragraph.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited in range, though minimally adequate for conveying basic thoughts. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word formation, and spelling that cause some difficulty for the reader, such as 'Nowaday', 'towarde', 'influnces', 'living hood', 'motavite', 'cloths', 'wholesaller', and 'reatiler'. These recurrent spelling and morphological mistakes prevent the response from achieving a higher band, as they highlight a lack of control over less common lexical items and standard forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writing exhibits a very limited range of sentence structures, relying mostly on simple sentences joined by basic conjunctions. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, such as 'Some people who has lots of knowledg and intrest in fashion, they become influnces'. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement ('people's point of view has change', 'trends and its all spread'), articles, and plurals. These frequent grammatical errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader throughout the text.
