Dressing sense of people has transformed alot over past few decades. In the past people used to dress as simple as it could be. Only people used to dress like royals were the royal families themselves. Only rich people used to spend on exorbitant clothing items.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the main parts of the prompt by discussing why global fashion has become influential and whether it is a positive or negative development, concluding that it is largely negative. However, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the explanation of how global fashion influences people mentions fashion shows and advertisements, but the discussion is brief and lacks depth or well-supported arguments. Similarly, the perspective that the trend makes people's lives miserable is supported by a generalized example of someone living 'hands and mouth' trying to follow trends, but this argument is not fully articulated or extended. The writer's position is discernible, but the overall treatment of the task is partial, which aligns with a limited approach to fully developing all prompt requirements.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays some organization, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, indicating an overall attempt to structure the writing. However, there is no clear overall progression throughout the text. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive. For example, cohesive devices are weak, relying heavily on basic transition words like 'Then' and 'So' to link ideas. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the ambiguous pronoun use in sentences like 'bringging with them. Then that feeling to be unique in society rise urge to buy new items and eventually end up in becoming new fashion trend.' The mechanical nature of the linking devices and lack of smooth logical flow prevent the essay from achieving a higher level of cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'exorbitant', 'mind-blowing', and 'creativity industry', but these attempts are often accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and word form, such as 'middle calss', 'inluenced', and 'crae'. Spelling errors are present throughout the text, including 'alot', 'htis', 'eaxmple', 'showoff', 'bringging', 'Gobal', and 'Ecample'. These inaccuracies and frequent spelling mistakes cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the lexical score, showing a struggle to use vocabulary with precision and control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response exhibits a limited range of grammatical structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside a few awkward attempts at complex sentence forms. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('fashion trends become reason', 'Global fashion have impacted'), missing articles ('in life of normal people', 'make people life'), incorrect prepositions, and awkward clause structures, such as 'In the past people used to dress as simple as it could be. Only people used to dress like royals were the royal families themselves.' Punctuation is also inconsistent, with run-on constructions and comma splices appearing in several places, reflecting a weak control over complex grammar.
