In the contemporary world, where social media become the relentless sorurce of getting information, entertainment or any trend. The international fashion trend is becoming more popular among individuals especially young generation. It has many aspects, major reason is the people wants to remain the part of trending fashion, to look more cool. Another cause could be, working people who went to office on daily basis, need to stay up-to-date, where clothing and fashion sense is also one of the essential part. In my perspective, this could be a positive development if one remain's in the budget.
On the one hand, social media has great influence on people, as new fashion is launched in the market, individual wants to follow this trend, especially in teenagers. To illustrate it, influencers in social media with having great followers, fashion industries collabrate with them and young ones blindly follow them, to look more potent and cool.
On the other hand, the people who need cloths for their quotidian like office going, businessman etc, more induldge in fashion trends because they need to remain -up-to-date, fashion sense is also one of them. To look more groom individuals have to follow trending fashion. For example, people who are in fashion industry or linked to it, need to aware about what fashion is going on, and by doing that it people feel more confident.
In my perspective, this is the positive development through which people remain in touch with fashion industry and put more focuse on themselves, but should remain in budget

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing why global fashion is influential and whether this development is positive or negative. However, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For example, the reasons provided for why people follow trends—such as wanting to look 'cool' or staying up to date at the office—are repetitive and lack extended supporting examples. Although a position is presented in the introduction and conclusion, stating that it is a positive development provided one remains within budget, the explanation lacks depth. To reach a higher standard, the writer needs to expand on their points with more detailed explanations and fully developed arguments regarding both the causes and the evaluation of global fashion trends.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation in the essay, with a clear attempt to divide the response into an introduction, body paragraphs addressing different angles, and a conclusion. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and the logical flow is hindered by repetitive statements. Cohesive devices are sometimes used, such as 'On the one hand' and 'For example', but referencing is not always clear, and sentences within paragraphs can feel disjointed. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is mechanical rather than fluid. To improve, the writer should ensure that each paragraph builds logically upon the previous one, utilising a wider range of cohesive ties accurately and smoothly to guide the reader through the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student uses a limited but minimally adequate range of vocabulary suitable for discussing fashion and social media, employing terms like 'influence', 'trend', 'industry', and 'confident'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word formation that cause some difficulty for the reader, such as 'sorurce' instead of source, 'collaborate' misspelled as 'collabrate', and awkward phrases like 'more induldge' instead of more indulged. Less common vocabulary is attempted with frequent inaccuracies in collocation and form. To achieve a higher band, the student must expand their lexical repertoire and ensure greater precision in word choice, spelling, and grammatical forms of words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences and basic complex forms that frequently contain errors. There are frequent grammatical errors involving subject-verb agreement, such as 'where social media become' and 'one remain's', as well as missing articles and incorrect prepositions. Attempts at complex sentence structures often result in faulty syntax and punctuation issues, which can cause difficulty for the reader. For instance, sentence fragments and run-on clauses disrupt the flow. To progress, the writer needs to increase their control over basic grammar rules, reduce the frequency of errors, and practice constructing error-free complex sentences with accurate tense and agreement control.
