Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some individuals wear global fashion trends for they give fame most of the celebraties, influencers and vloggers have keen interest in this trend. I thik it gives the negative development while they lost the cultural identity. There sre plenty of issues which i will discuss in the upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, first and foremost one is trendy clothes expensive day by day . To be more precise, biggest influencers active on social media most of the time in the day change their dresses through their shows and make reels to post on snapchat, instagram and tiktok . some of the middle class mankinds show keen interest in this trends and they do not afford these exoensive clothes.such as richer people chnges clothes every hour to make their proffession but who people are seen they also make feeling to wear this trend and show our higher personality this is wrong for all persons.
Moving forward, they loss their cultral identity, in the earlier time, mankinds wore their traditional clothes for built our culture at last but nowdays people do not think about their culture they think about ourself for their fame. Like, zara and sephora brands are highest cost value but not affordable for all persons and they dpnt sell traditional clothes. In todays world, no have much time when the culture has no identity and it will be lost.
In conclusion, it is true that global fashion are important but do not lose cultural identity for fame on social media. Trendy clothes wear on special occassions not for daily wear.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task only partially. While it touches upon both parts of the prompt—discussing why global fashion influences lives through celebrities and influencers, and expressing a view on whether this is negative—the position is not always clear and ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the writer states "I thik it gives the negative development while they lost the cultural identity," but the supporting arguments are repetitive and lack deep elaboration. Examples such as mentioning Zara and Sephora are introduced, but their connection to the main argument about cultural loss is underdeveloped. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to present a fully clear position and extend their ideas with well-supported explanations rather than generalized assertions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation evident in the essay, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, but there is no clear overall progression. The movement between ideas feels abrupt and mechanical. Cohesive devices are frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or over-used, such as the repetitive use of transition markers like "To begin with," "To be more precise," and "Moving forward." Additionally, referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the exact logical thread between sentences. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within paragraphs requires significant improvement. To progress, the writer should ensure that ideas logically flow from one to another using a wider and more accurate range of cohesive tools.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling throughout the response, such as "celebraties", "thik", "exoensive", "chnges", "proffession", and "dpnt". Furthermore, collocations are frequently unnatural, as seen in phrases like "make their proffession" or "make feeling to wear this trend". The range of vocabulary is basic and repetitive, relying heavily on simple terms related to clothes and fame. To achieve a higher band score, the writer must expand their lexical repertoire, incorporate less common vocabulary with greater precision, and pay closer attention to accurate spelling and word formation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying mostly on simple sentences, while attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and sentence construction that cause difficulty for the reader. Issues include subject-verb agreement errors (e.g., "trendy clothes expensive day by day"), incorrect verb tenses, missing articles, and awkward phrasing such as "who people are seen they also make feeling to wear this trend". Punctuation and capitalization are also inconsistent. To improve, the writer needs to demonstrate a greater variety of complex structures with improved control and accuracy, significantly reducing the frequency of basic grammatical errors.
