Student answer (Band 4.5)
Beautifull dressess are key objects in a persons personality. Today many peples are influenced by the ways people gets dressed according to global trends. I will discuss this in detail i body paragraph.
Many aspects of the way people dress today are influenced by global fashion trends. The key reason for such a strong influence is social media. People watch T.V, Dramas, and various public figures online people get impressed by their fashion sense and ultimately try to copy them. Moreover, in this era, most of the people wants to be comfortable always for this purpose they go towards western culture and their clothes and fashion whivh looks colourfull as well as comfy. Despite the comfort and beauty these dresses are slowly vanishing the cultural fashions. About 100 years ago every country had its own fasion and clothing culture but now it seems like every country on map is following the same fashion and there looks no difference in the people of different countries unless the language they speak.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response addresses the task only minimally. The length requirement is not met, as the response contains only 155 words, falling well short of the 250-word minimum (Note: 14 words copied from the task prompt were not counted). Furthermore, the structure of the essay is incomplete; the student writes, 'I will discuss this in detail i body paragraph,' but then fails to provide multiple body paragraphs or fully explore both parts of the prompt with adequate explanations and examples. Ideas are very limited and under-developed, preventing the response from reaching a higher level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some organisation attempted, but there is no clear overall progression or standard essay structure. While basic cohesive devices such as 'Moreover' and 'Despite' are introduced, paragraphing is not managed sufficiently or appropriately, with a meta-commentary sentence acting as an introduction rather than developing a proper opening. Referencing and logical sequencing between ideas remain basic and somewhat disjointed, preventing the information from being arranged coherently throughout.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The lexical resource is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, seen in terms like 'clothes,' 'fashion,' and 'comfortable.' There are also noticeable errors in word form, spelling, and word choice that cause some difficulty for the reader, such as 'Beautifull,' 'dressess,' 'peples,' 'whivh,' and 'fasion.' To improve, the student needs to build a wider range of vocabulary and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. There are frequent errors in verb forms, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation, which often strain the reader's understanding. Examples of errors include 'people gets dressed,' 'most of the people wants,' and 'there looks no difference.' Attempts at complex sentences are faulty, and basic structural control needs significant strengthening before higher-band descriptors can be achieved.
