Student answer (Band 5.5)
Today the dressing of persons depends upon the international standards. Nowadays, how the individuals dressed themselves actually reflects the trends followed in international market. I think this is a positive approach which encourages the different styles universally accessible.
Culture is the heritage of any society, it involves traditions as well as the dressing style. Every reigon has its own values but the international market has destroying these. Numerous things has played role in changing culture, for example social media platforms like instagram, facebook, tiktok. Any fashion lauched in one country can go viral instantly all over the world. These platforms have a huge effect on person's mentality like it influence the thinking as well as everyday lifestyle. The people follow those things which they see, so what they see on social media will ultimately develop those in their lives and global fashion is one of them.
Social media influencers have played the roles which targeted the global market. Traditional clothes are now replaced by international styles. Nowadays numerous brands have also designed clothes according to universal trends and sell them on cheap prices which ultimately effect the local culture of the area. But this cheap selling strategy is economicall for citizens. Cultural gaps have fulfilled due to international styles that followed all over the world.
To sum up, global fashions have changed over the time and its effect the whole world. As it destroys the country's own cultural values but its also altered the thinking of individuals that how to dressed up according to globall fashion which is helpfull for reducing cultural gaps.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: social media and influencers are presented as reasons global fashion spreads, and you state that you see the development as positive. The explanation that trends can “go viral instantly” gives a relevant account of how this influence grows. However, your position is not fully consistent: you describe global fashion as positive, but also say it destroys cultural values, without clearly weighing these effects. The benefits are less developed than the concerns; “cheap” clothing and reduced cultural gaps are mentioned but not explained with a specific example or clear reasoning. To strengthen the response, make your overall judgement explicit and develop each main point with a concrete example and explanation of its impact on people’s lives.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to explanations and then a conclusion. The second paragraph focuses on social media, while the third discusses influencers, brands and clothing prices, so the reader can identify the main topics. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the shift from cultural heritage to social media, and then to people’s mentality, needs more explicit links. The conclusion repeats earlier claims rather than bringing the positive and negative points together. Linking phrases such as “for example” and “to sum up” help, but some connections are mechanical or imprecise. Organise the body around two clear reasons, and use references and transitions that show how each example supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “international standards,” “social media platforms,” “traditional clothes,” and “cultural values,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “cultural gaps.” However, several word choices and collocations are unnatural or unclear, including “the dressing of persons,” “international market has destroying these,” and “cheap selling strategy.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “reigon,” “lauched,” “economically,” and “globall” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural combinations and precise wording—for example, describe fashion as “shaping clothing choices” and say that brands “sell garments at affordable prices.” Proofreading for spelling and choosing familiar, accurate collocations would make your ideas easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including the explanation beginning “Any fashion launched in one country…” and the concluding sentence with “As…”. This shows an effort to connect ideas, but control is uneven, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “Numerous things has played role,” “it influence the thinking,” and “how to dressed up,” where agreement or verb forms are incorrect. Some sentences also join complete ideas with commas, as in “Culture is the heritage of any society, it involves…”. Practise subject–verb agreement, verb patterns, and sentence boundaries. Breaking long or loosely connected sentences into clear clauses will improve accuracy while still allowing you to use a range of structures.
