Student answer (Band 5.5)
Fashion all over the world is one of the most influenced thing that shape according to trend. In this essay i will discuss about how fashion effect peolple lives all around the world and give my opinion on this fact.
There are varieties of resons how fashion put a strong impact on humans living style. First reason behind this is power of social media. While trend is followed by the people in past but it remains in the national borders and take too much time to cross the country boundries . However in the advancement of social media and apps like tiktok , instagram and facebook, it take about some hours to move around the world. In addition to this infuencer paly a vital role in global fashion adaptation. Their huge followers act as a screen to prompt that trend. For instance, a new trend of baggy pants rapidly followed by both gender all around the world.
Everything put negative and positive impact on world. However in my opinion it put negative impact . As fashion move all over the world so i can put negative impact on local fashion trend and culture. For example in pakistan's culture there is necessary to cover whole body with clothes , if a person of female gender wear a sleeveless shirt or rough jeans . She looked by other like a strange or foregin person. In addition to this, it also effect local industry. If people follow fashion that is out of the border trend than the people have to purchase these from that country that put negative impact on local fashion industry.
To conclude this, fashion influenced the people's lives by taking the choice to decide what they wear as trend manipulte the people to follow trend and impact the local trend and fashion industry badly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you explain the influence of social media and influencers, and you clearly state that you see global fashion as negative. The examples of baggy pants and clothing expectations in Pakistan help make your points relevant. However, the explanation of how influencers affect choices is brief, and the claim that people must buy foreign trends from abroad is not fully explained or supported. Your conclusion also introduces the idea that fashion takes away people’s choice, which is not clearly established in the body. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation and a specific example, and keep the conclusion closely aligned with the arguments already made.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the influence and your opinion, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “First,” “However,” and “In addition” help readers follow the main points. At times, though, connections are mechanical or unclear: “Everything put negative and positive impact on world” does not smoothly introduce your position, and the final sentence combines several ideas without showing their relationship clearly. Some references, such as “these” in the discussion of purchases, are also difficult to identify. Use more precise links between cause and effect, and make sure each paragraph develops one central point in a clear order.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “social media,” “influencer,” “local fashion,” and “culture,” and phrases such as “strong impact” show an attempt to express the topic beyond basic terms. However, word choice, spelling, and collocation errors are noticeable and sometimes make meaning less clear. Examples include “fashion adaptation,” “act as a screen,” and “trend manipulte,” as well as misspellings such as “resons” and “boundries.” Some expressions are also imprecise, including “fashion all over the world is one of the most influenced thing.” Build accuracy by learning common collocations for discussing trends and influence, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if a person…” and a contrast introduced by “However.” This gives the response some structural variety, but errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction are frequent enough to affect clarity. For example, “it take about some hours” needs subject–verb agreement and a more accurate verb form, while “it also effect local industry” has an incorrect verb form and lacks an article. The opening sentence is also difficult to follow because its clauses are not constructed clearly. Practise accurate present-tense forms and build longer sentences from a clear subject and main verb before adding subordinate clauses.
