Student answer (Band 5.5)

In recent years, dressing of people who are enhanced by trending fashion of world has become a highly discussion topic. Many individuals believe that it is a positive development also fashion changes day by day and by passage of time the style dressing is also changing. I strongly argue that it is a positive development from some point of views and negative development from some other angles.

Many people has a frimly believe on a positive development by the dressing of people that are influenced by global fashion trends. It can create positive development by influencing public through Tiktok, Whatsapp, Youtube, Instagram and other many such websites or apps that produce a keen desire into person to prepare ourself like a trending a fashion. Nowadays fashion is spreading like a fire in a jungle however a hipe is created by peoples and it gets fame also becomes viral in a short time. Moreover, it provides us many economical benefits by reducing unemployment. For instance, in last months Farshi Shalwar is trending in pakistan and almost in all asian countries.

On the other hand, many individuals think that it has a negative impact on society. The most crucial reason of this opinion are weird and bold dresses that are causing many disputes. The way of this development is caused by social media. Many people know about it but still silent because many rich peoples are against to it so whenever a debate started on it they win. Dress shows the personality of a person but now it uses as a different ways. By introducing many strange trends the prices of dresses increased resultanly it becomes difficult for poor people to afford it. For example, many poor people face many society challanges.

In conclusion, Dress according to the global fashion is a good thing but it should decent and we must try to trend a fashion that is budget friendly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions by discussing social media as a driver of fashion and presenting benefits and drawbacks, then giving a qualified view that fashion is positive if it remains decent and affordable. However, the explanation of how global trends become influential is only partly developed: the list of platforms and the claim that trends “becomes viral” need a clearer account of how exposure leads people to adopt styles. Your positive points about employment and the Farshi Shalwar example are relevant, but the link between them is not explained. The negative discussion raises disputes and affordability, yet “many society challenges” is too vague to support the point. Develop fewer ideas with specific explanations and examples, and state your overall position more consistently from the introduction onward.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for positive and negative effects, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “Moreover,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the broad direction. This coherent structure supports the discussion, although connections within paragraphs are sometimes unclear or mechanical. For example, the move from social-media influence to unemployment benefits is abrupt, and “Many people know about it but still silent” does not clearly identify what people know or why their silence matters. Some references, including “it” and “this development,” are also difficult to trace. Make each paragraph follow a clear sequence—main point, explanation, and example—and use linking phrases only where they express the actual relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “global fashion trends,” “unemployment,” “viral,” and “afford,” and you use some topic-specific examples. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “many,” “people,” and “development,” while several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning less clear. Phrases such as “a keen desire into person,” “a hipe is created,” and “trend a fashion” are not natural English; spelling errors such as “frimly,” “resultanly,” and “challanges” also affect clarity. Build a more precise set of expressions for describing influence, consumer behaviour, and social effects, and check spelling and word forms. The vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main topic, but accuracy and flexibility are not yet consistent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “that,” “because,” and “whenever.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “Many people has,” “the most crucial reason … are,” and “it should decent.” The opening sentence, “dressing of people who are enhanced by trending fashion of world,” is also difficult to interpret because its grammatical relationships are unclear. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and complete clauses before adding complexity. For instance, separate the social-media point from the employment claim, then connect them with a clear explanatory sentence.
