Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is frequently argued that now a days people admire by global fashion and they strongly follow these trend, currently global fashion impact so many people lives. it is positive development, while there are different views on these issues. This essay will discuss both feedback positive and negative development.
The first and the most important reason is that why global fashion is quit strong now a days because of the social media and internet.
For examples, every one globally use TikTok, Instagram, Telegram, Pinterest like platforms every influencer and celebrity use these app and fashion globally which admire people so well and they wish to wear these outfits.
Another, significant reason is that fast fashion and E-commerce, in other words like Zara and H&M brands make global fashion more cheaper accessible. Online shopping store like Amazon and Shein, make these global fashion outfits more accessible internationally, This can lead to strong influence on people's lives, particularly in Eastern Countries Like Pakistan where H&M and and other international brand store is not available, these E-commerce may lead to promote global fashion more effectively.
Although, in some circumstances it is also negative development, Like loss of tradition and different culture, new generation forgot their origin and unable to promote their ancestor tradition.
Hence, this further support my view that enhance global fashion by using easy and suitable online shops make people happy and influence fashion trends so well.
Conclusion, I strongly agree with these positive development because global fashion is one of the progressive and positive across the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the prompt: social media and online retail are offered as reasons global fashion spreads, and you state that you see it as positive while acknowledging cultural loss as a drawback. However, the position is not consistently clear in the introduction, which says “there are different views” and promises to discuss both sides, and the negative point is only briefly mentioned. The examples of TikTok, Instagram, Zara and online shops are relevant, but their effects are asserted rather than explained in depth. To strengthen the response, make your own position explicit from the opening and develop each main idea with a clearer explanation or a specific example of how it affects people’s choices or lives.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an identifiable introduction, body discussion and conclusion, and phrases such as “The first” and “Although” signal relationships between ideas. Nevertheless, progression is uneven: the opening refers to discussing both sides, the body gives two reasons for influence, and the cultural drawback receives only one short sentence before the conclusion returns to the positive view. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, including “Hence, this further support my view,” which does not clearly connect to the preceding point. Paragraphing also does not consistently separate the explanation of influence from the evaluation. Organise the essay into distinct paragraphs, each with one central point, and use clear references and transitions to show how examples support that point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “global fashion,” “social media,” “fast fashion,” “E-commerce,” “tradition” and “influence.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive. For example, “people admire by global fashion” and “these trend” do not express the intended meaning naturally, while “more cheaper” is an incorrect comparative form. Repeated use of “accessible” and “positive” also limits precision. Aim to learn common collocations for discussing trends and consumer behaviour, and choose more exact verbs to explain how platforms and brands affect people. Check spelling and word forms, including “nowadays” and “influencers.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer structures, such as the sentence beginning “Although, in some circumstances,” and use a reason clause with “because of.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “people admire by global fashion,” “they strongly follow these trend,” and “this further support my view.” Several sentences run together or begin with a lower-case letter after a full stop, while commas are sometimes used where a full stop is needed. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, singular and plural forms, and sentence boundaries during proofreading.
