Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall opinion that global fashion is more positive than negative, and you identify social media as a reason for its influence and cultural exchange as a benefit. However, the response only partially develops the task: the explanation of how social media spreads trends is brief, and the positive effects are not supported with a specific, relevant example. The final point about controversies and firewalls is introduced without explaining what controversies arise or how restrictions would address them. The response is also 235 words, below the 250-word minimum; the nine words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop both parts of the question more fully and add a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression is limited: the second body paragraph gives only a short claim about cultural exchange, while the conclusion adds the new idea of banning content through firewalls rather than drawing together the points already discussed. Some links are also mechanical or unclear, as in “There are some reasons in the below essay, how has…” and “People an exchange cultures through influenced by…”. Build each paragraph around one developed point, use clearer references, and avoid introducing a new argument in the conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “global fashion trends,” “social media,” “international audience” and “culture exchange,” so the main subject is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make the writing less natural: “get a reach” does not express the intended idea clearly, “great influenced” is inaccurate, and “exchnage” and “Instragam” are misspelled. Repetition of “fashion trends” and “people” also limits flexibility. Aim for more precise phrases such as “gain a wider audience” and “cultural exchange,” and check spelling and word forms carefully. More varied, accurate vocabulary would help express the ideas with greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences using connectors such as “Furthermore,” “Therefore” and “As a result,” but the range of sentence structures remains limited, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. Examples include “People follows” and “people likes,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “they trys,” which has the same problem. The opening also has article and sentence-structure problems in “fashion trends become important part” and “There are some reasons in the below essay, how has…”. In addition, “it can be control” and “what to banned” show faulty verb forms. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for a complete, grammatical structure.
