Student answer (Band 6.5)
In contemporary era, most of the people inspired by global fashion trends for their dressing. It is the positive development because it encourage people for giving better appearance of culture and their tradition. This essay will discuss the same before reaching to the logical conclusion.
Without a shadow of doubt, there are numerous reasons behind this. One key reason for the rise of global fashion is the rapid development of communication technologies, especially social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. These tools allow users to instantly access and follow the latest fashion trends from around the world, helping them explore different cultures and develop their own sense of style. Another major factor is the advancement of global transportation. Air travel and modern public transport systems make it easier for people to travel internationally, exposing them to diverse clothing styles and allowing fashion to spread more quickly and widely.
In my opinion, the influence of global fashion is largely positive. Firstly, it brings economic opportunities to remote and developing regions. Through online platforms, unique and culturally specific fashion items can reach international markets, helping local designers and manufacturers grow their businesses. Secondly, global fashion promotes cultural exchange. People around the world become more open-minded and accepting of different traditions by embracing foreign fashion styles, which encourages international collaboration and understanding.
In conclusion, the spread of global fashion is mainly driven by advancements in communication and transportation technologies. Overall, I believe this is a positive development that benefits people both economically and culturally.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both parts of the question: you explain the influence through social media and international travel, then give a clear positive view supported by economic and cultural benefits. The position remains consistent from the introduction to the conclusion. The examples of TikTok, Instagram, and local designers make the discussion relevant. However, some ideas are asserted more than developed. For instance, the claim that global fashion makes people more accepting of other traditions would be stronger with a specific example or explanation of how clothing leads to greater understanding. The opening claim about improving the appearance of culture and tradition is also unclear and is not developed later. More precise explanation of these points would make the response more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, a paragraph explaining causes, a paragraph evaluating the development, and a concise conclusion. Ideas generally progress logically, and signposting such as “Another major factor” and “Firstly” helps readers follow the argument. The conclusion accurately brings together the two causes and your position. Some linking is rather formulaic, particularly “Without a shadow of doubt” and “This essay will discuss the same before reaching to the logical conclusion,” which do not add much meaning. The relationship between the opening claim about culture and tradition and the later discussion is also not clearly signalled. Use more natural transitions and clearer references between claims and examples to make cohesion less mechanical.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “global fashion trends,” “communication technologies,” “international markets,” and “cultural exchange.” These choices help convey the main ideas, and terms such as “culturally specific” show an attempt to be precise. However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “people inspired by” and “giving better appearance of culture.” The phrase “the same” is also vague in this context, while “numerous reasons behind this” is less precise than the discussion that follows. These issues do not prevent understanding, but they limit naturalness and precision. Aim to use familiar collocations accurately and choose wording that expresses the intended relationship between fashion, culture, and personal style.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning “because,” “by,” and “which,” and most of the argument remains easy to understand. There are, however, some errors in basic sentence construction and agreement. For example, “most of the people inspired” needs a finite verb, and “it encourage people” has a subject–verb agreement error. The phrase “This essay will discuss the same before reaching to the logical conclusion” also has an awkward grammatical pattern. These errors are noticeable but rarely obstruct the message. To improve, check that each sentence has a complete verb phrase, match verbs to their subjects, and review article use and prepositions in longer sentences.
