Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this era people wear different dresses according their styles and fashions. Individuals get fascinated with new design and models. I discuss both development and provide a suggestion to problem.
As people changed according to time and their demands also changed, they wear fashionable clothes on events and parties. They spend lot of money on their choices and looks. This makes them different from others and fame also plays key role on such events. For example, individual belongs to rich families spent lot of money on their selection to get compliments. Whereas people who belongs to poor families have no choice to wear fashionable clothes on such events.
If we talk about the negative development of this essay is also have wider impact on society. People who spendthrift can face greater challenge in future, this leads to wastage of money and also wastage of time, they should spent geniune amount on their selections, and also influence others to spend wisely. The people loss their cultural values if they spends money on the fashionable products. this not only cut their routes also separates them from their traditions. If people spend money on foreign culture and trends this leads great impact on local industries.
In my view, people should focus on their cultural routes and also take steps regarding their spendings. If they cannot do so they face greater challenges in future.
In conclusion, people prefer foreign cultures and traditions, although they are really influenced from foreign products. This leads to great impact on the local industries and cultures, this is a negative development, and its impact are too greate to ignore.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify the development as negative and give relevant concerns, including excessive spending, loss of cultural traditions, and harm to local industries. The example contrasting people from rich and poor families also supports your point about unequal access to fashionable clothing. However, the response only partially answers the task: it does not clearly explain how global fashion became such a strong influence. The opening says people are fascinated by new designs, but this idea is not developed through causes such as social media, advertising, or international brands. Your position is clearest near the end, while the opening promises to discuss both the development and a solution. Develop the causes and explain each main effect with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable paragraph structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, a personal view, and a conclusion. The ideas about spending and cultural effects are grouped in relevant sections, and phrases such as “For example” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the writing. However, overall progression is not always clear. The first body paragraph focuses on events and social status, while the next shifts to spending, culture, and local industries without a clear link to the question of global influence. Connect each paragraph to a central argument and use clearer transitions between related points. Some linking is repetitive or awkward, particularly the repeated use of “also” and the long sentence beginning “If we talk about the negative development.”
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “fashionable clothes,” “cultural values,” “traditions,” and “local industries,” which helps communicate the main concerns. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “spendthrift” and “fascinated,” but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural and sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “different dresses according their styles” and “spend geniune amount” do not express the intended ideas clearly; “routes” appears to be used where “roots” is meant. Spelling errors such as “greate” and “spendings” are also noticeable. Build a more precise range of collocations for discussing influence, consumer behaviour, and cultural change, and check word forms and spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “whereas,” “if,” and “although.” This gives the response some structural variety, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “Individuals get fascinated with new design,” “people who belongs to poor families,” and “if they spends money,” where agreement and verb forms are incorrect. Sentence construction is also problematic in “If we talk about the negative development of this essay is also have wider impact on society.” Articles, plurals, and punctuation need more consistent control. Practise building accurate sentences around one main idea, then add subordinate clauses only when their grammar is secure.
