Today, peoples wear is largely decided by global fashion rather than traditions. This strong influence mainly cause by the increase of social media flatform and growth of the international fast fashion brands. I totally, disagree with the view because it distroys the local culture identity and negative development damages environment.
The main reason the global fashion is on trend because of wide spread of internet and use of social media platforms. Through apps like instagram, tik tok. Many of the social media influencers and celebrity share their new clothing styles and fashions. It influences the people wish to have the clothes they fit in it. Additionally, the large multinational companies business take the advantage of the this fashion try to produce the copies of these trendy outfits quickly and sell it at low prices. This high affortability make it easy to everyday consumers around buy it the global trend. However, the trend have negative impact on the local identity. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you explain the influence of social media and international fast-fashion companies, and you clearly judge the development negatively. The examples of influencers sharing styles and brands producing affordable copies are relevant, as are your points about cultural identity and clothing waste. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that jeans and T-shirts cause local heritage to be lost would be stronger with a specific example of a traditional style being displaced. The environmental point also needs a clearer link between trend-driven demand, synthetic production and disposal. Develop each main point with a concrete example and explain its consequences more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on the causes and negative effects, and a conclusion. The progression from social media to fast fashion, then to cultural and environmental consequences, is generally logical. You also use signposting such as “Additionally,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion.” At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. “The companies in order to produce this” is an incomplete transition, while “It increases the demand” has an unclear reference. The first body paragraph also combines the explanation of influence with the cultural consequence, making its focus less consistent. Give each paragraph one clear purpose and use precise references to connect sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “social media platforms,” “multinational companies,” “synthetic fabric,” and “cultural values and heritage.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors sometimes make the message harder to follow. Examples include “flatform,” “distroys,” “affortability,” and “the people life.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “the clothes they fit in it” and “fashion clothes.” Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise choices would help you express the causes and consequences without relying on repeated general terms such as “trend” and “clothes.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures with “because,” “as” and “Consequently.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some errors in sentence formation, verb forms, agreement and punctuation reduce clarity. For example, “This strong influence mainly cause by” is missing a finite verb, and “The trend have negative impact” has agreement and article problems. “Through apps like instagram, tik tok” is a fragment, while “The companies in order to produce this. They try…” breaks one idea into an incomplete sentence. Practise building complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement, articles and sentence boundaries. Accurate control of these basics will make your complex ideas easier to understand.
