Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both parts of the question: you suggest that social media exposes people to new styles, and you give positive and negative effects. The point that people become curious after seeing trends online is relevant, as is your concern that expensive clothing can create pressure for people with less money. However, the explanation of how fashion became influential remains limited, and several claims—such as that good clothes improve personality—are asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example. Your final sentence, “it is more better for rich or elite people,” does not clearly establish your overall view, and the conclusion is unfinished. Develop the causes more fully and state a consistent, clearly qualified position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to discussion of influence, an evaluation of advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “First of all,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the broad stages. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first body paragraph moves from clothing and personality to social media and then addiction without clearly connecting each point. Some linking is mechanical, and references such as “it” in “It have developed great influence” are unclear. The conclusion is also incomplete, so it does not effectively bring the argument together. Group related ideas and use clearer links to show cause, effect, and contrast.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “global fashion trends,” “social media,” “financial condition,” and “current fashion trends,” which allows you to communicate the main subject. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as people becoming “addicted” to trends. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making the meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “Numerous perspectives … are impressed by” and “loo them with downcast eyes”; the intended meanings are not clear. Spelling errors such as “fshion,” “inhance,” and “devopl” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural phrases for discussing influence, affordability, and social pressure, and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both short statements and longer sentences, including a conditional-style explanation beginning “when they look at new fashion trend on social media.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns, agreement, articles, and verb forms. For example, “our dress demonstrate” should have a plural subject or singular verb, while “It also help” and “Everyone follow” do not maintain subject–verb agreement. “People are now become addicted” combines verb forms incorrectly, and “it is more better” uses an incorrect comparative structure. These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret the point. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then extend them with clauses while checking agreement, articles, and verb forms.
