Student answer (Band 5.0)
People wear dresses according to the current world fashion trends is very common nowadays. When we open social media in our daily routine, there are many fashion brands that are advertising their varieties of dresses according to international fashion trends. I partly agree with this idea and in this essay i will support my opinion with examples.
Firstly, although people look beautiful and charming while wearing the dresses according to global trends but there are many people who cannot afford these advanced dresses. They do not feel confident because they overthink about their lives to see the people who wear variety of suits. For instance, an office boy will feel shame when he will see his boss in different dressing daily.
Secondly, large companies hire those employes who are well dressed and know the current fashion trends. If the individual have not too much resources to follow these trends, then obviously he will be ignored by the organization. At the result of this , he will give up and this habit will have negetive impact on him.
On the other hand, some people support this opinion because they think that an individual will be succeed by following the international fashion trends in his organization or company. They argue that the person who did not follow the current trends, he will always face criticism from thw big fishes of the industries.
In conclusion, even thoughh worldwide fashion trends have their own importance but everyone should put an eye on the people who have not enough resources to follow these trends.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a relevant view that global fashion can create pressure and disadvantage people who cannot afford fashionable clothes, and you support this with examples involving an office worker and hiring. However, the task asks both how global fashion became influential and whether this is positive or negative. Your opening briefly mentions social-media advertising, but you do not explain this influence in enough detail, and most of the essay focuses on its negative effects. The position is also unclear: “I partly agree” does not directly answer whether you consider the development positive or negative, while the opposing view is introduced without being resolved. State your judgement clearly and develop the causes of fashion’s influence as well as its effects.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “On the other hand” help readers follow the broad structure. However, progression between ideas is limited: the first two body paragraphs both discuss financial pressure and workplace consequences, while the paragraph beginning “On the other hand” presents a counterargument but does not explain how it relates to your own position. Some linking is mechanical, and references such as “this opinion” are not fully clear. To improve, give each paragraph a distinct purpose, connect examples explicitly to the main claim, and use the conclusion to resolve the contrast rather than simply restating that fashion matters.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “global fashion trends,” “international fashion trends,” “confident,” and “criticism,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or awkward, which can make the reader pause: “advanced dresses,” “variety of suits,” and “put an eye on” do not express the intended meanings naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “employes,” “negetive,” and “thw.” Aim for more precise collocations and avoid repeating “fashion trends” by using alternatives such as “global styles” or “current clothing fashions.” Proofreading spelling and word choice would make your ideas clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, for example the opening time clause beginning “When we open social media” and the contrast introduced by “although.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. Examples include “people wear dresses … is very common,” “If the individual have,” and “an individual will be succeed”; these show problems with agreement and verb forms. The sentence beginning “although” also lacks a clear grammatical connection to its main clause. Work on subject–verb agreement, verb patterns, and complete sentence construction. Shorter, carefully checked sentences would help you communicate your argument more reliably while you build control of complex forms.
