Student answer (Band 4.5)

These days incresing number of people make tread of all aspect. Certain reason of the way people dress now are influenced by today's fashion treads. In recent time how has glpbal fashion become such a strong influence on people's lives. It is partaly development. My preference is expalined in the upcoming paraggraphs with valid reasons and appropriate examples.

It develpoment positive because influence make containt for reel and how to advertise on cloths after people is attrect. Moreover when go for shooping and buy large of thing. In that time social media is used by people therefore, people can not repeat clothes. As example, people have instragram account and whenever they visit place they also click photo and post on social media. So second time they do not wear dress. As result, shopkeeper sales dress and make marketing by influencer.

Furthermore, that trend also negative effects because, people make this trend and also spend lots of money on dress. They do not see my home condition are poor. they only follow trend. In addition people make fake content after we go for shopping and see real prizes is high. If they have no money and their financial condition low. As example, in my college student did challenge. They did not reapet cloth and one student have no money. As a result he stole money from other student and in house. After my college's HOD understand him.

In conclusion, that sentance have both type of effect. We understand our situation beacuse in that time gen-z people make new trend. If we do not follow trend, we don't die. So also that is make more fasion by influenced.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You attempt to address both questions by mentioning social media and influencer marketing as reasons fashion spreads, then discussing positive and negative effects. However, the explanation of how global fashion became influential is brief and unclear, and your position is difficult to identify: “It is partaly development” is not a clear answer to whether the change is positive or negative. The examples about avoiding repeated outfits and a student stealing money are relevant in principle, but their connection to global fashion and the overall argument needs clearer explanation. The conclusion says there are “both type of effect” without weighing them or restating a definite view. Develop each main idea with a clear explanation and a specific, logically connected example. The response meets the required length; nine words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for positive and negative effects, and a conclusion, so there is some basic organisation. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help signal movement between points. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the positive paragraph moves from advertising to shopping, social media, repeated outfits, and shopkeeper sales without clearly showing how each point connects. References such as “that trend” and “that time” are sometimes unclear, and the conclusion introduces “gen-z people” without developing the point. Some connectors are used mechanically or inaccurately. To improve, give each paragraph one central idea, explain it in a clear sequence, and use pronouns and linking phrases only when their meaning is unmistakable.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary related to the topic, including “global fashion,” “social media,” “influencer,” “financial condition,” and “trend.” These choices show an effort to discuss fashion’s influence and its consequences. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “treads,” “containt for reel,” “prizes,” and “make fake content.” Some phrases are not natural in context, including “make this trend” and “make more fasion by influenced.” Aim to use accurate, topic-specific collocations and check spelling carefully. Replacing repeated general words such as “make” and “thing” with precise verbs and nouns would also make your ideas clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You use mostly simple sentence patterns and attempt some longer sentences with “because,” “when,” and “if.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the structures are often incomplete or faulty, and errors frequently make the intended meaning hard to follow. For example, “If they have no money and their financial condition low” is a fragment, while “people can not repeat clothes” lacks a clear grammatical expression of the intended idea. There are also problems with agreement and sentence construction in “one student have no money” and “shopkeeper sales dress.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check verb forms, articles, and singular/plural agreement. Use complex clauses only when you can control their structure.
